The 'majority' of people are successful on there own with out any set-backs, and some have problems! It's all in the planning and preparations. One does not plan to fail they just fail to plan. With that said if you have the time to invest and feel comfortable with the process go for it! Some people's time is more valuable or they simply don't wont/can't deal with the paperwork, they may have complications involved so they enlist the services of a (qualified immigration attorney). If your one of them hire someone to do the job. Only you know your situation and if you can handle the job. Read the 'Guides' spend some time on the site and ask question!

Is that something like the Muslims from Iran that I went to college with in the 1970's that wanted me to take them out on the town, get them drunk, and get them hooked up with big tittied American blondes with loose morals?
Naw! Depends on your definition of Muslim and your definition of Christian. Ever heard of a Jack Mormon? Some of these guys weren't even Jack. The last thing they ever wanted to do was go back into the arms of the Ayatollahs. One of my old Iranian party buddies tried every trick in the book to avoid going back home until he racked up too many DWI's to avoid deportation. On the same note...are these Muslims that strap on bombs and commit suicide to advance Islam real Muslims?
Why, Steven, do you rejoice in disrespecting Christians when there are so many other hypocrites running around in America and all over the world? But I should have known already...that is what white Christian raised liberals love to do. Trash your own people to look hip. If you want to trash people...spread the wealth. Don't just focus on your own people. Try pointing fingers at liberal sacred cows once in a while. You can criticize and trash other peoples, but your liberal buddies will abandon you and accuse use of some unpardonable -ism. That is why I'm not a liberal and never will be. I calls it like I sees it and let the chips fall where it may. Take it or leave it.

You don’t need to send WU as part of the I-129F filing send in strong evidence such as photos of the two of you together passport stamps airline tickets and so on, sending money for a K1 ‘can’ be viewed as ‘buying love’ For a married couple it is different, it can show part of an on going relationship and commingling of finances and or support for a child. Keep the WU in your back pocket. At the time of your interview, if you need it you can produce it.

We had the East German border fence for decades. Everybody knew that if you climbed over it, you were running a risk to either get shot or to step on a land mine. And they just wanted to get out of their country, not invade another one!
All that's necessary at the four US border states is a bunch of signs telling invaders that if they climb over the fence and onto the soil of a foreign nation, they will run a risk of either being shot or to step on a land mine. In fact, CBP Officers should be allowed to use deadly force on any invader who is not immediately following commands, whether he throws rock at them or not.
If I had to vote on this as a US citizen, I would support it. I'm not supporting it because I have no compassion for poor people looking for a better life; I'm supporting it because the abuse of our court system by blood-sucking "personal injury" attorneys needs to be stopped.

    The TOS violation is this:
When you name a specific poster and make comments that denigrate them and their family members it is considered a personal attack, obviously designed to upset, antagonize and belittle them. The post that was removed violates this TOS.
It is taking a general statement and making it personal that makes this TOS statement relevant. There are other TOS that address comments that disparage a group of people for the purpose of instigating an argument and when those have been reported to us, we have addressed them.

SCOTUS did not decide to give more influence to corporate money. The decided a particular law was unconstituitonal. Doesn't mean we can't make another law. Doesn't mean we can't limit all campaign spending to government funds voluntarily contributed to (such as tax check off) But you will never see that law because the people that would make the law don't want it. The campaign finance law was another smoke and mirror attempt to make you think something was done.
The same reason we do not have the FAIR TAX, it takes away the POWER that exists in the tax system (the power they seem to forget how to use to control illegal alines) There is no other reason not to repace our curent tax system which is broken to say the least.
Neither party WANTS to curtail illegal aliens. They BOTH want to exploit them all they can for votes and for cheap labor. Republicans fume and spend money on useless walls, fences, electronics. They get votes from their constituents who think they are doing something. The only "something" they are doing is funneling cash into the border protection industry. When they say that something "Costs xxx billion dollars" it means that someone is MAKING xxx billion dollars and they don't want the xxx billion dollars to go away by solving the "problem" they are being paid to solve. They develop into "industries" which feel they are entitled to exist. They funnel back money to politician so they keep building fences, buying electronics, etc.
Democrats speak of human rights and then allow people to be denied basic workplace wages and protections imn the hopes they wil have a path to citizenship, which will involve them being dependent on Democrats and being a solid voting bloc for them. The illegals will be made "legal", be laid off because they are no longer cheap, go on the government handout system and eventually be made citizens to vote for Dems that support government handouts. They are cultivated votes.
Simply enforcing our country's wage and hour and workplace protection laws with SEVERE penalties for people that break the law would eliminate the vast majority of illegal aliens in this country. They will self-deport. Why stay if their employer says "Sorry, but I cannot risk losing my business by employing you" ??? When illegals hear that chorus, they will be freed from what is basically slavery and go home. The rest is moot.
As if imagining what Was already written was not bad enough, consider further...
What if congress decided to suspend all the above but ONLY for black people? After all, BLACK people are more affected by the recession. Their unemployment is double what white people experience. Wouldn't it be "fair" to make them more attractive to hire by reducing the cost to hire black people? What do you think would happen if Congress suggested eliminating minimum wage and SS for black people? What if they said, in essence "Hire black people to do your roofing and you do not have to provide them with fall protection equipment...OSHA does not apply to black people" Do you think this would be seen as "fair"? Or racist? Would it be seen as "helping" black people? Or would it be considered segregation?
What would happen to a business that was paying black people less than minimum wage? what if they gave fall protection to white roofers but not black roofers? What if white roofers got pension plans and black people did not? Fair? Making blacks more attractive to hire?
Why is it OK for illegal aliens?

    First Principle: Cut the Numbers
Any level of illegal immigration is unacceptable,
Any measure that increases illegal immigration violates this principle. Immigration is a discretionary public policy. Its primary purpose, since our founding, is to advance the interests and security of the nation.
Second Principle: No Amnesty or Mass Guest-Worker Program
The 1986 amnesty was a failure; rather than reducing illegal immigration, it led to an increase. Any new amnesty measure will further weaken respect for our immigration law. Therefore, all amnesty measures must be defeated.
Laws against illegal immigration must be enforced, if they are going to act as a deterrent. Redefining illegal aliens as"guest-workers" or anything else is just that: a redefinition that attempts to hide the fact it is an amnesty, not reform.
Third Principle: Protect Wages and Standards of Living
Immigration policy should not be permitted to undermine opportunities for America's poor and vulnerable citizens to improve their working conditions and wages. The need for guest workers must be determined by (objective indicators that a shortage of workers exists, i.e., extreme wage inflation in a particular sector of the
    labor market.)
The current system accepts self-serving attestations of employers who seek lower labor costs as protections of
American workers. True reform requires an objective test of labor shortage demonstrated by rising wages to attract more American workers
Fourth Principle: Major Upgrade in Interior Enforcement, Led by
    Strong Employers Penalties
Employers who knowingly employ unauthorized workers are the magnet that attracts illegal entry into the U.S.
These employers are complicit in the illegal alien cartel activity of smuggling, trafficking, harboring, and
employing and must be punished. We must reform the current system by enforcing employer sanctions and
fully punishing employers who break the laws of this country. These punishments will be fines, jailing for
repeat offenders, and loss of corporate charters. Employers who knowingly or unknowingly employ illegal workers
must be weaned off of their growing use of such workers by assuring a level playing field for all employers and
demonstrating effective enforcement actions against employers who continue to exploit illegal workers. No U.S.
industry has jobs in which there are no American workers. If illegal workers are decreased over time, wages offered
will rise to attract back more American workers. Real shortages, as noted above, can be met with short-term temporary
    foreign workers.
The Basic Pilot Employment Verification program must be made mandatory and at no extra cost to employers.
Effective immigration enforcement on the border and the interior of the country requires that staffing,
equipment, detention facilities, and removal capabilities be adequate to fully meet current needs. The
measures needed to identify and remove illegal aliens will also remove the ability of potential terrorists to operate freely
in our country as they plot the next catastrophic attack on our people.
Fifth Principle: Stop Special Interest Asylum Abuse
Reforming the refugee and asylum system means returning to the original purpose and definition of the
program: "any person who... is unable or unwilling to return to, and is unable or unwilling to avail himself or
herself of the protection of that country because of persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution on
account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion...."
America must honor it responsibilities to protect people who are fleeing true political persecution as defined by U.S.
and international law. Efforts to expand those definitions to include all forms of "social persecution" invite massive fraud
and endanger the security of this nation. Similarly, treating aliens illegally residing in the country the same as foreigners
on legal visitor visas for purposes of the Temporary Protected Status designation is illogical and a form of amnesty that
    must be ended.
    Sixth Principle: Immigration Time Out
We must restore moderation to legal immigration. Beginning with the recommendations of the Jordan Commission in 1995, we need to restrict immigration to the minimum consistent with stabilizing the U.S. population.
Overall immigration must be reduced to balance out-migration, i.e., about 300,000 per year while still permitting nuclear family reunification and a narrowly focused refugee resettlement program. A moratorium on all other immigration should be immediately adopted pending true comprehensive immigration reform. We should abolish the extended relation preferences.
Seventh Principle: Equal Under the Law
There should be no favoritism toward or discrimination against any person on the basis of race, color, creed, or nationality.
All admission of immigrants should come within a single, stable ceiling which is periodically reviewed on the basis of
a reasoned, explicit goal of achieving population stability.
We should abolish special preferences such as the Cuban Adjustment Act.

During that two month period billions of magazine bodies were produced (they are simple stamoed metal devices or molded plastic) During the 10 year "ban" there was never a shortage of high capacity magazines and the prices barely moved up. He could have easily obtained these at any time during the "ban" by mail order/internet order

You are right that magazine size is irrelevent. You want someone shooting at you with a single shot rifle?
You are wrong about automatics. Automatics are legal and can be privately owned with a $200 transfer tax and federal registration. Unless banned by state law. Most states allow automatic (as opposed to "autoloading" or "semi-automatic") The really funny thing about the assault weapons "ban" (I mean besides the fact it didn't "ban" anything) was that it only affected firearms that LOOKED like assualt rifles. REAL assualt rifles (selective/automatic fire) were not affected at all and continued to be just as legal as before. It was a "ban" of certain cosmetic features of semi-auto firearms. A more useless law was never concocted.
If you are ever in the neighborhood of Louisville, KY on the 2nd weekend of April or October, go to the National Machine Gun shoot at Knob Creek Gun Range. Drive south from Louisville on Hwy 31W until you see the cars parked all along the highway for a mile or so. Get out and follow the crowd. Literally THOUSANDS of privately owned machine guns from all over the country on display and shooting! Great fun. A few years ago I owned a M1928 Thompson SMG. It was expensive but tons of fun to shoot! I was made an offer I could not refuse.
Incidentally you can also own sawed off shotguns, silencers and all that other "nasty" stuff with a background check and registration. Not a problem in particular. There has never been an instance of a legally owned automatic weapon being used in a crime.
