    Ok let me start by saying the difference between administrative review and administrative process :-

    Administrative Review:

    Is when your case is being looked at more closely for accuracy and to make sure all security name and fingerprint checks have cleared and your visa can be adjudicated.

    Administrative Processing:

    Means once you have interviewed it is in security checks for any of these situations: you have had a name hit in one of the many data bases, background checks for fraud, or has missing and incomplete information that must be submitted and the rechecked. Processing is more in depth and than the review process and there is no time limit for this processing to complete. Administrative processing can last a few days or months and in some cases it has endured for years.

    And here are some info might help you to understand that process :-

    • What is Administrative Processing? AP is also called Additional Administrative Processing and is when the applicant is being checked more closely. It can be for security checks which encompass fingerprints and/or name checks or for document verification.

    • When does Administrative Processing Happen? AP can happen at any time during your processing. It can happen at a service center, at the NVC level, or at the embassy level. It mainly is discussed here in the forums at the embassy level.

    • Who can get Administrative Processing and Why? AP usually affects men and women from certain countries but anyone can get AP. Persons coming from T countries (Terrorist Countries) seem to have more security checks and have to endure AP at the embassy level after their interview. Common names, your nationality, religion, education, relationship of applicant, travels and job can all be factors for AP. Having incomplete or missing documents will also cause a case to be put in AP. In some cases if the embassy does not believe in the validity of the relationship they can investigate it further with a field investigation.

    • What are the T-Countries? Although it is classified, the list of countries reportedly affected by these restrictions includes, but is not limited to, Afghanistan,

    Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Djibouti, Egypt,Eritrea, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya,Malaysia, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia,Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates,

    and Yemen And that list of T-countries can change at any time.

    • Can I check the status of my case? The embassy will not in many cases respond to emails until a certain amount of time has elapsed. The best bet is to contact Department of State aka: DOS and ask them for an update bi-weekly. They will not be able to give you details but they can tell you if the case is still pending in AP or cleared.

    • DOS information: DOS can be contacted Monday through Friday during business hours. You must have all information concerning your case with you so that they can assist you.

    • Can I expedite this process? The simple answer is NO. No one can expedite the checks since they are considered a matter of National security. An elected official can only make a congressional inquiry on your behalf. They cannot get the checks finished any faster.

    • Does AP have any time frame for completion? NO AP can last anywhere from days, weeks, months and in a few cases years.

    Anyone that happens to be given a 221(g) or Administrative Processing letter must be patient and let them do their work. Do not call constantly and ask about your case. Remember each time your case is moved it can then end up at the bottom of the stack and your time can be extended. Each case is different so you cannot judge your case by any other and each consulate/embassy may have a different average time for completion of AP.

    And here what i used to send to them to check on my case status :-

    Type your case number on the subject line ''CROxxxxxxxxxxx''

    And then your Email by saying my case number is CROxxxxxxxxxxx

    Petitioner's name ................

    beneficiary' name ..................

    I want to check on my case status is there any updates ?

    hmmmm,,

    either she would stay or not

    the baby not belong to her only ,,they both having it

    so better to tell him NOW before its late and the problem get bigger with innocnt baby didnt come yet to life

    he would be happy of know he going to be a father

    but if she delayed telling him that would be hurtful and cheating

    so my advise to her yes tell him and the best will happen from allah

    and to put her self in the father position would she like something as this to happen to her?

    as i said before am in AP for more than 1 month and the Co mentioned i would get the visa after 1 month

    anyway

    is there a specific form to email the embassy and ask them about the AP and how long it take ?

    or i just send them regular email with case #

    i hope anyone have experience with to let me know

    Salam guys

    now i have been on AP since first of aug

    and i have been told in the interview to just wait 1 month to get the visa and the have my passport

    but i keep checking the embassy website at Cairo and still the same answer tham am under processing

    and my case # start with CRO xxxx xxx xxx and i read other ppl their cases just # without CRO so i dont know if this mean something or not?

    anyway i hope to find out any INFO from you guys and hopefully to tell me if i want to email the embassy

    what i should be asking for exactly to be short email ?

    yes she handed me with paper with my name ans case number including sign x meaning required ,3 things ,1 his origional certificate marrige ,2 his origional divorce certifacte marrigae from his ex american wife ,3 more evidances for relationship like emails .phone record ,pictures that is what she aske in the paper and she said send those by dhl to review your case , just wonder what she mean by review ?? although in the mideal of interview she said she cant approve the case without his marrigae and divorce certifacte of his ex ,just wish that she not send me for another interview ......pls share me

    sounds just missing documents

    get the documents and mail it then wait yr visa

    and i dont expect that there is any 2nd interview

    relax and get the documents ready and you also can tell yr husband to call DOS to ask about yr interview and know some answers

    thank u to all of you my friends in here , gush it was avery unbelivable day ,first i left at 3am ,to cairo ,arrived at 7 am ,raw for immgation just include 4 persons ,went outside and got number ,called by egyptian lady window number 13 i went in fact she was nice ,arranged documents ...etc and go back to set than finger print window number 7 than the interview window number 15 ,looks like chines or asian woman never smile at all ,she never look to the kids or look friendly ,anyway she aske for more evidances for our relationship like we are tweenty or such stuff like picters even i show her she never care to look and phones record ,chatting ,omg im not young for all that she aske ....anyway she said also she cnt approve the case without more evidances so my husband will send what she aske and lets see ,by the way she keep passports is it good sign ??? what is your poinion guys

    all i can say congratulation and tell yr husband to send what he need to send ASAP

    and after you DHL it to embassy you will be getting yr visa in 2 weeks in sha allah

    in sha allah you will be great

    the most important thing is to clear yr mind and not to be scared and worry

    cuz you going to take yr rights being with yr husband so no need to any kind of worry

    and to relax yr mind am glad to say that most of cases that have Moms with kids they get approved right away

    so please relax and sleep well before the interview

    and am sure in sha allah in 10Aug we gona say Congratulations and be ready to book yr flight

    Engo sounds like a huge CONGRATULATIONS is called for!!! kicking.gif Yes AP sucks, but it is kind of to be expected by male Egyptians. I pray it goes fast for you and you receive the visa fast! good.gif

    My Interview Review Today

    Salam all

    i got up early and went to the embassy like 7:00 am

    then i get in with security check then entered and stayed on the chair with having my # 5**

    after waiting they call for my # and egyptian lady took my medical, passport,, and photos then asked me question about my wife in arabic and i answered then told me to go to DHL to give them my adress and my # .

    stayed again and wait to the american lady to call me back for finger prints

    then wait for the final step which is the interview

    the CO was female like around 30 with no smiles :S

    asked me how i met my wife?

    and who is my new sponsor and how i know him?

    how many times did she come?

    for how long she stayed?

    where do she live?

    whats her job?

    what do you plan to do?

    and i answered all with not hesitation alhumdolillah

    and she didnt ask for any phpto or anything which mad mee upset cuz i spent alot of time doing that

    anyway she gave me paper with notice am in AP and said to check and you will get results or visa in 1 month ( in this part i didnt focus cuz i expected to be approved for normal visa)

    so i said ok ty and bye

    thats all and my advise for anyone getting his/her interview date

    to be early there and sleep night before well

    to calm down and listen carefully to questions and feel free to ask more one time to repeate the question till you understant it

    get newspaper cuz waiting sucks or read Quran just dont go empty

    thaks all and dont forget me from yr prayes

    i did forget to tell that they kept my passport and i gave them new sponsor forms cuz our last sponsor doesnt make enough anymore so we using anew one

    and also forget to ask her if am approved or not how crazy is that :bonk:

    so will wait and see
