  1. In assembling my I-129F petition I noticed that I somehow lost the airline boarding passes for our flight from Guilin to Xian, but I do have the boarding passes from Xian to Beijing as well as our boarding passes from Beijing back to Nanning.

I’m wondering if they will question how we got to Xian even though we have several photos of us while in Xian. I do have the e-ticket itinerary/receipt for our tickets, but my fiancée name on her e-ticket is in Chinese. I’m surprised since everything else is in English.

My fiancée also purchased the domestic airline tickets (I paid her back of course) since she is a tour guide and arranged our flights within China and hotels before my arrival. (It's nice to be in love with such a wonderful woman)

Also, the departure stamp date in my passport is very light and difficult to read.

Will any of these items cause a problem with my I-129F petition filing?

Do I even need to include the airline boarding passes for our fights to each city we visited in China?

    Thank you for your help.

  2. My fiancée and I just finished a wonderful vacation of 43 days touring China and we’re in the process of preparing the K1 package.

My question is whether I should submit the ticket stubs of the many tourist attractions we visited while in China. The reason I’m asking is because my fiancée is a tour guide in China and being so is granted free entry to almost all the attractions we visited by showing her tour guide badge. I’m concerned if I submit the ticket stubs as evidence it will raise more questions even if I explain why there is only one ticket to most attractions.

I’m thinking that maybe we shouldn’t submit the tickets to avoid a RFE and any delay's since we have several photo’s of my fiancée and myself together while visiting all the attractions plus the usual evidence of meeting in person and showing an ongoing relationship e.g. copies of airline boarding passes, train passes, itineraries, hotel receipts, passport stamps, phone bills, Yahoo voice logs, emails, chat logs, letters, poems to each other, credit card statements of purchases made in China, as well as airline tickets back to China in January 2009 to visit her and vacation in Shanghai.

Any suggestions or comments are welcomed.

    Thank you in advanced.

Yes, I'd skip the ticket stubs for attractions. You can save the ongoing relationship for the interview. All you're proving with the petition filing is that you met in person at least once in the past two years. Your list through "passport stamps" is good. Save the rest.

Thank you for your reply, but I have another question.

I am a little confused because the Visa Journey I-129F sample cover letter shows to (optionally) include proof of an on-going relationship as part of the petition filing.

Is it better to include this proof now or do you think it makes the petition more confusing? I just want everything to go smoothly and without any delays.

    Thanks again

  4. If you don't know, then state "Unknown."

If you are a US Citizen and your parents were married, you *might* be able to get his exact DOB from their marriage certificate. I wouldn't worry about it too much, though. For sure it won't be the first time they've encountered that situation.

    Good luck!

Thank you, I appreciate your response. I’m trying to obtain my parents marriage certificate to see if that helps.
