Hello all,

My LPR Mother back then submitted I-130 for my unmarried and over 21 sister with kids who were in the Philippines.

*My mother (LPR back then) filed I-130 for my sister back in May of 2016

*My mother became US citizen in January of 2017

*My sister received the Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation dated May 1, 2020 (which includes the NVC Case number and Invoice ID number)

We've tried to login at CEAC site but:

1) We can't access the Choice of Agent, or Fees tab yet at CEAC as it were still grayed out.

2) Visa category is F24. Should we have it changed to F11?

Confused why my sister already got NVC case number and Invoice ID number and status on CEAC says "at NVC", but the visa bulletin shows it is currently on 2012 PDs.

We just got a little excited on this.

Hello all, it's been a while since I've posted here. Here's the scenario:

USC Mother petitioning unmarried and over 21 daughter with kids in the Philippines

*My sister received the Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation dated May 1, 2020 (which includes the NVC Case number and Invoice ID number)

Questions on infos at CEAC site:

1) My mother can't access the Choice of Agent, or Fees tab yet at CEAC as it were still grayed out. When will she expect to get access?

2) Visa category is F24. This should be F11 right?

3) My sister's children's second name was entered as their last name. How to fix this? Add Applicants then enter their full names and upload birth certs?

4) Should my mother call/email and tell them that she got naturalized back in 2017?

I got an email saying that I'm inline for interview scheduling since 1/30/13.. Until then, I haven't heard from them yet!!! Ugh!!!

For some reason, I got the Biometrics Appt. Letter today, Notice dated on 01/15/13. Appt. date is on 1/28/13.

Did not get any NOA that they got my application or whatsoever... weird :unsure:

My father had this situation before. He went to NBI for additional background check and somebody did interview him. After that, NBI will send a letter to USEM, then USEM will review again your case for approval/denial. This took approximately about 2 weeks.

my wife got approved for expedite too and will have her appointment 7am same day as your daughter

Ok, so, my daughter's case was expedited from NVC. They've sent it to USEM immediately.

I've been trying to call DoS for updates since Monday, but they haven't got any. Then I tried to call USEM (the 011-632-301-200 not the 1-888 number) yesterday to ask for an interview date.

First thing the lady said, they already received the documents but there's no interview date yet due to that they're still reviewing it.

So, here is the best part of the call.. I talked to her calmly and asked her that why there is no interview yet, the case was expedited and why does it still move slow.

Then, she kept me on hold for about 10 minutes.. When she "helloed" back, she told me: Okay ma'm, the interview date was now set on Sept. 17 @ 7:15am.

And so, I WAS SHOCKED & HAPPY :dance:

I did confirmed to her twice :yes: and asked her when they could email us the interview date confirmation letter, then she told me that they don't do emails, but they'll send a letter on that day to St. Luke's for my daughter to have a medical. Or my daughter and her guardian could go to USEM to get the letter for her to be able to have a medical

I thaaaaaank her a LOT (L)

So, today, I wasn't convinced on what I've heard last night, I called DoS and asked them on the status of our case.

YEP! A lady told me that the interview date is on Sept. 17

No need to call the 1-888# and pay for the $18/3 calls B-)

I emailed an expedite request at NVC on August 5, 2010. I had a log in failed as you can see on my timeleine, and called/talked to a NVC operator August 18, 2010 and she said that the expedite request was approved and they will mail it at US Embassy in Manila, Philippines. She also told me to call the embassy to request for an interview date.

Ok, so, I haven't received any response yet from NVC through email regarding the expedite request. No case complete, no confirmation.

How will I know if USEM already received our case? When should I call the USEM? The operator told me to wait for a week, but I knew it won't be that long..

Any experiences??? Please help...

We have the same timeline kokobearus. NVC received checklist response on July 20th, as per AVR. Aug.12, we received an email saying that they haven't received the IV packet, but we already did send to them. So, I called and discovered that our AOS was already accepted but the DS230 wasn't reviewed yet.

Geez, they're getting slow this month

You may petition her. It will be much faster. File for the I-130 with the required documents. Once the I-130 gets approved, the processing will be quick. In my case, as you can see on my timeline, we were not in a hurry. But if you want to be fast, it will probably takes 4-7 months.

Same here, my mother is with my daughter to get my daughter a new passport, not a renewal, but for first time applicant.

They told my mom to get an appointment through online. The earliest is August 10 !!!!!!!!

Our problem is, we can't send the DS230 of my daughter without a copy of her passport :crying:

My mother is now asking some help from my aunt who knew a senator.

Hope they could help us :unsure:

I got so frustrated when my mom emailed me this news, I can't wait to be with my daughter after 4 loooooooong years, and now, it gets even loooooooooonger :crying:
