If you're applying after five years, you don't have to send ANY tax documents with your application. You just have to tick the box that says 'yes, I've been good and paid Uncle Sam every year'.

Hi Everybody, i have question here i would like to know what documents i have to send with my N-400? and i am filing based on 5 years rule, how many years taxes do i have to submit 3 years or 5 years? thanks.

Hi there,
Since you have been divorced now, 5 yrs rule apply to you. Your 5 yr anniversary will end on April 2 2012 and you can file in your citizenship application upto 90 days before this period. This means that you can file in your application now! You an either download the application and then fill it up by hand or fill it up online itself. This is purely based on your convenience, but you have to send the completed application to the USCIS by mail only. You need to show your records for the past 5 yrs. I do not think you will need any other form other then N-400, if you are getting naturalized on a regular case.
Hi Jessica24 thanks for your answer that makes sense i have all the documents to submilt with my N-400 form, so now 90 days windown is open i'm gunna go ahead and file soon thanks.

You can apply 90 days before the 5 year anniversary of your "resident since" date on your greencard, so sometime in January 2012. Do not apply early!
The Guides will tell you what you need to submit: http://www.visajourney.com/content/naturalization_guide

If he was never arrested, or cited, no problem. Just make sure it was a Field Interview Report he signed, and not a "Cite and Release". If he has to see a judge about the incident, then he will have to report that on the N400.
Hi thanks guys for the reply, yeah he never see the judje or they ask him to, it was just argement and no big deal, thats what i told him too dont worry about it this is just incident and there is no damages!! thanks.
-
nothing to worry about, you was not arrested, you was not convicted, ther was no court hearing or date, the officer made you sign the report, so it's on record i would go to the police station and get the report make copies, when the time comes to file your n-400 citizenship, send a letter explaining what happen along with the police report, you should be fine.
Thanks for your reply, yeah thats what i told him too there is no big deal, he only sign the report and he never been arrested, i dont think he need to get the report and send it when he apply for N-400? because there was no charge or damages? thanks for ur answer.
