I think there is a partial misunderstanding of the question. There is no reason you cannot begin getting together the stuff you will need for the interview now. Police reports, birth certificates, divorce decrees... and all the translations and certifications that will go with it. Go to the Kiev embassy website and download their KEV-1 form to see what you will need. Ask again on VJ if you are uncertain on some of it. (E.g., you do NOT need the DS-230 for a K-1). Sure, some stuff takes a long time, start now!
Diana is right that you can't do the physical or pay any fees until the embassy has your packet from the NVC. I believe the police reports do have a lifetime, they're either good for 6 months or a year. Forget which, but either way you should be good. My Kiev interview is in 2 weeks and will be 6 months after filing the I-129f and that includes one RFE. You may be faster. Good Luck!
As far as required documents are concerned - go ahead and start with it. But with the forms to fill out for the interview at the consulate/embassy, I would advise you wait until you have an interview date as forms may be updated.
GOOD LUCK!

Guys, what do you think in this situation of Our marriage, still wondering WHY until now the X-of My Husband still on HIS account in the BANK,and everytime that I ask Him(Husband) can't be deleted/erase in the record because that is the policy in the Bank..they divorced 2005..and they are joined on it.
And My question is Is that really the policy or regulation in the bank here???once your wife is in the secondary of the account you can't easily delete her name??I am the legal wife now so I have a right to ask about it!
PLS HELP...
We tried to open a new account and I am the primary on these new Bank now and He is the secondary..but all the money is there (original bank account).
JOINTORS in a bank account may not be removed. To totally do away with the account is to close it. End of story. Tell your husband to do that ASAP.

I am based out of Kentucky and what I did was to call each and every clinic and asked them for their fees and rates. They were all pretty open about it and I only had to pay $25 for my vaccination transcription. And for others who required a full physical exam, they only ask for $75 - pretty neat!

Real life experience here you go:

I started my medical on a Wednesday and finished it on a Friday. Say it was March 6th if I'm not mistaken. My interview was not until March 27th but luckily for me I got a reschedule slot for a March 10th so I was able to make it for that day. You just have to inform St. Luke's that you need to handcarry the passport with the medical clearance because your interview is just a few days from the medical.
IF YOU GET REALLY LUCKY - that your fiancee's medical is clean - I'd say you can make it. If not, call the US Embassy if you suspect a delay and just reschedule. They will allow a certain number of days to cancel and reschedule anyway. Good luck!
Reminders: Get to the clinic as early as you can. Waiting can be hours (seriously) for a 5min procedure and interview and screening. And don't be shy to ask and be informed! That has a lot of people getting lost in the process because they do not ask! Tell your fiancee to be gutsy and not be shy.

Thanks everyone for your help.
My SSN card has been reissued (unless they lied on the phone, which of course might be a chance) and should be here next week. Then we'll start with the AOS and hopefully do it right.
My alien number, however, isn't anywhere on my visa - the annotation field says nothing, whereas my little brother had other things written there ("Going to sister's wedding in XXXXXX"). So the only A-looking number is the 9-digit one on our NOA2.
You can check your I94 for your A number, hun. The immigrations offic usually assign you one when you get to POE without it. Just check.
HYENA: Thanks for sharing your experiences with me. I sure am beginning to wallow in self-pity. I am just not used to it. I felt so selfish having to sacrifice my career and good job in the Philippines, and the family that depends on me - for a life, starting over here in th US and barely even making it and my folks back at home, having a hard time since I am no longer around to help out. It bothers me a lot. I am hoping it will get better soon.
Mara: I don't blame you for thinking K3 now. That might be faster!

I have not submitted my documents for AOS just yet. I just got my I693 supplement though and I only paid $25.00/pax on it. So I am very happy. On top of that, dear daughter got all her shots for free at her pedia as it had been applied to insurance. We just recently gathered enough money for the filing fee and I am beginning to be able to breath better. My hubby's pay is just enough to break even and we don't even have a house yet! We are living with the in-laws (waving to Gemmie) too and it's really hard on me as I am so used to having my own turf. But, I believe it will all be better soon and I can't wait to get my hands on that employment card! The employment here in KY is a little bleak but I am keeping a positive mind.
Mara: Did the judge give any timeline as to when you get to hear from them?

Hello mga sisters1 How are you all? I went to a Fil-Am association picnis sa Lexington, KY last Sunday and my family is one of the new members. Ang sarap ng feeling na may kausap akong mga pinoy. Super enjoy ang anak ko kasi nasa park kami. How are you all? Eto ako, trying my best to shed off a few pounds. Bumibigat sa pagkain dito... Kadiri!!!
Pero of course, maganda pa rin - WALANG KOKONTRA!!!
Have a great day, everyone!
Good luck Julie!!!

To all who have been through or undergoing the K3, CR1 and IR1 visa, I need your help.
My cousin's husband just got approved of the spousal petition (she didn't tell me which one - K3, CR1 or IR1). He got the letter from the US embassy in Manila that his interview will be on October 27, and that he has to complete the medical before that. Now, does he need to call and set an appointment at St. Luke's or can he just walk in? Some visa application require an appointment for the medical and I would like to have a clear understanding if that should be the case for a spousal visa as well.
Let me know your thoughts. I would appreciate it. Thanks!!!

I know how that feels Phil. MY pregnancy was so bad, I lost almost 15 lbs just because I could not keep anything down after I eat, especially. I was salivating most of the time, sensitive to smell and scents, I even hated my bath soap and shampoo and conditioner I have to change all of it to unscented. I dislike a few people all of a suddn... It was awful and a lot of it is because of the hormones. I keep throwing up since I was 2 weeks on the way until I was about 6 months. I only started eating rice again when I was already 5 months pregnant. Kinda rough, but my mom told me she was the same with my brother too. The second pregnancy was not as bad. Tell Shir to hang in there. It's all worth it in the end. Congrats!

good day all
pleaseeeeee i need ur help in this
about the Tourist Visas ... is there is more than 1 kind ?? B2 is the only tourist visa I know
like is it all for 2 years ?? or maybe there is spacial cases for middle east people ?? Depends on the annotations and details on your tourist visa. If it saya M on the entries part. It means you can come to the US multiple times. Expiry will determine how long the visa is valid. Every entry the immigration pffice will grant up to 6 months maximum length of stay.
i mean like the Tourist Visas generally its a visa for 2 years ( i can use if in the next 2 years) is that right ??
or maybe there is other Tourist Visas ??
and how much i can stay in usa with Tourist Visa ??
if it is 6 month as i know ... can i to go out of usa for like week or 2 and then come back to usa again with da same visa ?? or i will need new visa ?? Yes that's possible. When your 6 months is up, you have to leave the US or you will be overstaying and that could be counted against you.
pleassssssssssse i need this information very soon ... if any one can help
thank you
Hope this helps!

Because of a medical situation in the Philippines , we have to change our medical and interview plans . So I have a couple of questions that I hope I can get some help for .
#1) How many days does it take for St.Lukes to send info to Embassy ? They usually do it by batch... Say all the medicals for the current week will be forwarded the following Monday. However, in my case, at the last minute I was able to change the interview date to the day after my medical, I just made sure that I informed the St. Luke's Releasing counter about it and they made me handcarry my passport to the embassy.
#2) We are going to ask CO if we can pick up the visa , so how long (days) does it take to be able to go back and get visa ? I'm not sure if this practice is still allowed by the USEM. The last I heard, they insist on courier delivery only. You can always try though. Give them at least 10 business days for your visa and packet pickup.
basic outline is as follows..
Tue & Wed do medical ..
Fri have the interview..
Hopefully can pick up visa on Monday.
I know I am assuming alot here , but this is our best case senerio.
I hope someone has a answer.
Thanks to all
Hope this helps. Good luck!

At this point, you may be better off calling the USEM.

That's so sad that that's the way they treat their citizens here. it's kind of morbid that we will all be part of the rotten system.

just relax, don't jump inot conclusions. It may be that she's still in the account but has no access to it anymore. Whatever the case may be, don't dwell on it and just have him close the account and open the new one to avoid further issues. Focus on the solution.
