Depend on your country, B-2 is not for everyone. Sorry to say that India is not one of the easiest ones.
-
Keep the boarding pass as evidence on interview.
-
Congrats and wish you have a smooth journey.
-
No need to worry about that at all. (I wish they consider that as a fact to vary the process speed)
Anyway... some people know each other for as little as 3 months, seeing each other for 1 week and they got their visa.
-
We attached copies of personal handwritten letters, some of them not in English. Most of them without a date, though (because we didn't write one on it and it's not primary evidence anyway). Is it likely that something like that can cause a RFE because they can't read what it says? Should we have sticked to English "evidence"?
If it's not primary evidence then it shouldn't cost you any problem. What you do need to be prepared is when you on the interview, you might need to prove is there is no problem of communication between you two.

You will need NOA2 to adjust your status too.

Hi VJ'ers,
How do you know when you need a co-sponser? I have been living with my fiancee in Mexico since Septmeber, therefore I don't have an American job with American paystubs. However, I have about $5000 USD saved in my American bank account, plus my fiancee has a Mexican HSBC account with about $1000 USD in it. I also get some dividend income from some stocks that I own (not much) but ... is that enough, or do we still need a co-sponder? Where can the guidelines be found for this? I've read the I-134 form but it doesn't say much.
So then that poses this question: do I fill out the Affidavit of support form, as well as the co-sponder (my mother)? So we have TWO I-134's? And, will they accept a faxed copy from the US for my mom's copy, since I don't have access to the original?
Thanks for the help.
Monica
PS Interview is in three weeks!!!
From the sounds of it, you need a co-sponsor.
And yes, your mother need to fill out another I-134 and it should be original.
-
If you have a co-sponsor, he/she will need sign a I-134 and give you a tax form.
-
Thank you both for the reply.
Any advice on the changing address/employer? I would like to start the application ASAP, but if this is going to complicate things, I will wait.
1. For forms, go with the guides here which should be enough
2. Have your fiance sign the forms and file them in with many dated pictures, printed emails and some calling records
3. I won't try to change address during the whole process. (try to use an address that will last for 2 years)
And welcome to the board and wish you a smooth journey.

It could take up to a month. In some rare cases, people got NOA2 without receiving NOA1
Should you start worry now? No. If you used check, check to see if it is cleared.
-
You can have anything you want as long as you don't tell visa office what you have done or show him/her pictures of you in big white dress... so they don't get confused.
-
Whatever address you are using on the form to receiving documents from them, make sure it won't be changed within the next two years and it should be your US address.
-
Fill out the forms there and have him signed.
Take a lot of pictures, dated.
-
Wish you best luck!

Congrats! Best news of all!

You should receive your NOA2 (approval) or RFE within 6 months.
As for timeline, go with members here who also process with CSC.

Hi, I just wanna make sure - Is it 3/4 frontal view or is a frontal view (directly facing camera)? I know the instruction says 3/4, but I've seen some postings that says it's the regular passport photo requirement (ie. frontal view). Thanks everyone!
I believe 3/4 is an old story.
-
No need to worry IMO as everyone else said. Besides, I-134 or I-865 is not needed until your interview.

HI EVERYONE
WE got an email where they are " requesting additional evidence " what does that mean? AND what we have to do then ?? will that delay the processing of our case in the future?
THANKS TO everyone who can provide me with answers and clarify this matter to me
RFE meaning your application has something missing that they'd like you to send it back to them (usually listed in your letter)
Do it as quick as possible. It might affect your process but some people get approved right after they send their RFE back.
Good luck!
-
Welcome to the board!
As sated above, use the newest form and make sure you got everything and then good luck!
-
If they ask you about it, be positive. Try to use more relationship evidences to overcome it.
Be conferedent!
-
Congrats!
Good things happen to people who waited.

She has to apply for AP so when she wants to come back... she has no problem to enter the country...
But she has to live in the country for certain amount of time in order for her to adjust her status.

Strongly suggest you file in a request for your case status.
Usually you should get response(whether it's an approval or RFE).
Investigation from my understanding happens after approval though so I am not sure where you are at...
hi everyone...i am new to visajourney...filed my i129 on march 28

Keep a close eye on your case. Once it hits six months mark before NOA2... there is something wrong with it.
