I don't feel bad for him, but it's impossible not to also focus on how the Americans lives lost in Iraq from this guy could've been prevented, lest we get too distracted with the "momentary" issues.
 
This wouldn't be something the US would be dealing with if pile of garbage GWB, Cheney, Congress, and co. didn't put us there in Iraq to begin with, fully knowing Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 (and seriously deviated from going after those responsible for 9/11), this was their contrived war fetish. Those deaths, these trillions of dollars spent, the damage to international reputation, American safety, the additional conflicts, that may well result in a war with Iran, are the results of this one choice over a decade and a half ago. Bush should be rotting in Guantanamo with these terrorists. The families of fallen soldiers who died so needlessly, and American society who are paying for the utterly moronic and reckless choices of one administration to fabricate cause for a war, deserve justice.

Also, opened my first-ever bottle of Maker's Mark.  First one rocks, now an Old Fashioned.  Seemed like a rational start to a new year.  I'm sure @luckytxnwill agree even if none of ye heathens do.

But the Dems really backed themselves into a corner rushing into an impeachment they said couldn't wait (for due process, for court cases to play out, Trump was an immediate threat to the country) yet don't even want to send to the Senate. They've done very little in the public eye beyond the "impeachment" crusade. I mean, even in Canada, we had CTV, Global, and CBC doing their own impeachment coverage.

If CNN is reporting the obvious on Trump, dear god it must mean Dems are heading to a blood bath in 2020. If congress had done Prescription cost reform, tackled medical costs, given us border security, while at the same time given some form of amnesty to those WE  have allowed to make a life here I think they would have for sure kept congress and probably have retaken the white house.
 
Instead they have wasted years chasing a false Russian collusion narrative and now an Impeachment that most sane people know is absurd.
