  1. Hello. We are about the send the I-485 and my husband had his medical exam in Morocco. He turned over the envelope when he was admitted to the country which I know is supposed to go to immigration so he doesn't have to do another medical exam; however, I did ask him if he got vaccinations when he did his medical stuff. He said he did but we don't have a copy of what he actually received.

Do we need to get all the vaccinations again for him as listed on the I-693, or does anyone know if Morocco gives all that's required? We don't want to wait around trying to track down the information so we're thinking of having him just get all again, but it'd be nice to know if he needs them or not.

yes go ahead and have him take the vaccinations again and fill the form i did the same thing when i got here it's better than get a RFF OOOOOPS

  2. Hey guys just was wondering are the interviews at Casa Blanca in Arabic or in English???? My husband speaks Arabic and very very lil English.....lets just say I understand him but i dont know what will happen when he goes up for the interview....please if anyone has any information please let us know because we are both scared about this....we are close but yet seems far away....we dont have an interview yet but we are getting closer....i emailed the DS 3032 and paid the fee online....so thats what i mean by we are getting closer....everyone here is so much help and i am so thankful to all who have helped....God Bless...

he should do the English interview better cause if he said i don't know English i wanna talk Arabic she will tell him how come you wanna live in usa and you don't know English .so you prepare him for the questions and in the interview if he didn't understand a question he have the right to ask for explanation .

Okay you had your interview on August 7th and that's all I am able to decipher from your post. Are you still waiting to hear about whether you were approved? Did something go wrong at the interview and you were supposed to turn something else in to the embassy?

I am very confused and would like to help, so please re-post your question. :)

    Good luck.

did you got a form after the interview ?if yes what the form says ?

  6. I thought I'd lighten the topic and ask a question I'd been thinking about.

First, I love, I mean I LOVE ETHNIC MUSIC but the arabic music  (if i may categorize it as such) is da BOMB!

I definitely have my favorites and most of my time shopping there is finding new, awesome music.

Old ones or new....what are some of your favorites or what would you recommend?

Alot of times I cant spell the names of the artists but Amir Diab is certainly up there for me

MY MACK DADDY OF ALL I HAVE HEARD CHEB HESNI, MAMI, ELISA, and NANCY something or another.

anyhow please share I'd like to get some ideas...I miss Morcco

None of the singers you write here are Moroccan they are Arabic yes but not from MOROCCO but i like cheb hasni and cheb khaled and you should hear chabi or cha3bi music from morocco it's awesome lol

  8. I am completing the I-485 for my wife and a field on the second page for the form asks for Non Immigrant Visa number - is this the Visa control number?

    Thanks in Advance

    Ben

Non Immigrant Visa number is the red number. The black number is called a "control number" and is irrelevant for you.

Please note that when it comes to immigrant visas, the term "visa number" has a very different meaning related to the quota system.

  9. hi guys i had my TB test skin for AOS packet and it was positive but my X-RAY chest was clear even if that they said i have to take medicine for 9 months because i have been exposed to TB in the past as the doctor said . i told him it could be BCG vaccination which turn my skin test positive he said we don't know for sure but since your test positive you have to take the medicine :angry::angry::angry: i am really lost  now i don't know what to do any help plz i really will appreciate it thx

The BCG vaccination will and almost 100% of the time show a POSTIVE skin test. I wish there was a way around that. I was fortunate to not get that vaccine while I was living in Jamaica. Some of the skin reactions are horrible. You don't have to take meds unless something shows on your x-ray

thx for the answer but the doctor said i have to take the meds or they wont approve my AOS case

WHAT! I've never heard of such. How will your doctor know you're taking the meds let alone USCIS?

he is a civil sergeant he send the meds to the nurse in your city and she will make sure you take them then she will fill a report and send it to the sergeant then he will send a letter to immigration based on that report means that you are under treatment ....it's just pull #### i don't how they can't treat you for something they are not sure of it it's really sucks

My friend had almost the same problem. She always has positive reaction on a test but after further diagnostics it looks like a mistake. She hasen`t filed her AOS yet though... But her doctor put info about diagnostics being made based on a test and that they had negative result in that sealed envelope. So basically she is not sick right now and that is what matters.

Good luck, hope it will be fine.

    thx

  12. I have searched VJ for information, but what I come across about Muslims seems to be mainly about Middle Eastern. My SO is from Senegal which is 90% Muslim. I was born and lived in Nigeria which has a huge Muslim population and I don't have any experience with Muslims from the Middle East.

I am Catholic and at first was not at all concerned about the difference in religion especially since we both agreed that we do not want any children together. ( We each have a grown son from previous relationships.)

I notice when I visit him in Senegal he doesn't seem very religions. When they have calls to pray he never participates or goes to the Mosque. When I go to Mass he attends with me. Members of his family have married Catholics so he had been to Mass before he met me.

The problem is that from conversations that I have had with his family and friends I get the feeling that he is a more devote Muslim when I am not around. I find the Muslims in Senegal to be a lot more laid back than in Nigeria ...so it hard for me to tell with him. This is something that I will discuss in depth with him on my next visit ( hopefully in Oct)

When it comes to religions I don't want us to feel like either one of us has to defer to the other. If they are things that have to been done or can not be compromised on in regards to religion we should put them on the table now.

Anyone out there from West Africa with a Muslim SO who might have had any issues that they have come upon and dealt with ??

i i think since he respect your religion and accept it you should do the same it 's not a matter if he's very religious or no the problem is who is he ?as a human ? and how he treat you ? he is Muslim or chris or jewish or spiritual or ....... who care what you need to care for is : are you in love ? are you happy together ? if yes go ahead start your live and don't listen to what people say ...

  15. hi all i see that there s no one from morocco had this topic before so it s a new in morocco and do i need to do somthing or just waiting

khoya had al9adiya normal matkhafch o matbarzathomch ask your wife to email them from usa they will answer her .they will contact you before your approval will expired .they will take your passport and give you back all your evidence and she will give you another form and after a week they will call you to come get visa inchallah .think about it if she want to deny you she will give you 221g return petition to usa from the first interview so rta7 m3a rasak o maykon ghir lkhir inchallah.

  16. My fiance is from Pakistan, and I am wondering what my quickest option is for bringing her to the US is. How long is the K1 visa processing taking (until she arrives here)? how about k3?

Her mother and her sister have a US visit visa, so if I apply for her fiance visa, she can be accompanied by her mom/sis and get married here. The other option is to get married in pakistan and play the waiting game.

Which route you guys think is betteR? How long is K3 visa processing taking in pak? How much is the time after the interview?

What about K1?. Anyone know how long it takes to get K1 visa as well?

    Thanks in advance.

i did k1 and it took 6 months. i think it's the faster and best way to bring your fiance to usa. about k3 and cr1 it take a long time 2 years to 3 years ouchhhh ...when you'll apply for k1 it will take between 2 to 3 months to approve your petition in usa then they will send it to NVC another month then NVC will send it to Pakistan for the interview another month or visa in hand but you have prepare your fiance for interview and add a lot of evidence to your case good luck
