I have a valid marriage certificate from both countries. I have been using the my U.S marriage certificate for all of the forms since that was the only marriage certificate I had at the time. Do you think I should submit both of my marriage certificates along with the DS-230 just in case?

What's wrong if you submit both originals, if persons are same, date and place of marriage is same ???

persons are the same, but place and date of marriage are not the same. the U.S marriage certificate was from our civil marriage in the U.S and then a year later (a few months after submitting I-130) we had a religious marriage in Israel.

We were married in the U.S and obtain a U.S marriage certificate. Would that be accepted as a valid marriage certificate in the consulate in Israel. I was wondering if Israel required an Israel marriage certificate?

When ready to send the DS230 form to NVC, do we send the following documents with the form:

* Birth Certificate

* Marriage Certificate

* Military Records

* Photocopy of Valid Passport Biographic Data Page

* Police Certificate(s)

I am reading this page: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3195.html and it mentions sending original or certified copies of the required documents. Do we actually send the one and only originals or do we photocopy our originals and send them that?

How will you go about getting the signature of the beneficiary on the DS-230? Also, what documents will you be sending along with the DS-230?

I Sent DS-3023 choice of agent via email last week, and still no OK notice. I was wondering how long it took you guys to receive the OK after sending your email.

I qualify for filing an I-864EZ, but why not use an I-864 still? Do I gain/loose anything out of using an I-864EZ over an I-864?

Just wanted to let you know, i made the online payment yesterday, and today it went through as PAID. Now I can print the bar code sheet.

I called NVC today asking for my IIN and the operator told me she would give me the IIN but the online payment system is down. I don't know if it just went down now, or that it was never working?

She said you could try using it but can't guarantee it will work.

I will try anyway, but wanted to hear other peoples experience using the Online Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center
