Taking a copy of the NOA's wouldn't hurt just to be safe...I believe he can go with you (Citizens & Perm Residents Line), but I am sure that they will send him to secondary processing after that.

Got my husband's AP in the mail today.

Have a few questions about it now...If we want to travel, I assume we bring both of the pieces of paper with us but do we need to bring anything else as far as NOAs or any other AOS related correspondence from the government?

And also, which line would he stand in when we get back to the US? Would he come with me or go to the other line?

I was with my then fiance (now husband) when he had his interview in London June 30th last year and they did not allow me to go in with him so I sat in the park and waited

Our i-485 was touched yesterday & says the same thing as before...your case was transferred & is now pending at the uscis office it was transferred to. Does that mean they might be working on it? Or did everybody else receive a touch on the i485 when the EAD & AP's were approved & that's just part of the standard routine?

My husband's I-485 was last touched after his biometrics. His EAD & AP were just approved and show touches from that, but the I-485 hasn't changed.

i'm almost scared to post this.. i don't want to upset people again or make them angy.. but my EAD was approved today too.

it's like.. too good to be true. i expect something really bad to happen in the last minute

my husband and i are in a similar situation. we are currently living with my parents until my husband's EAD is approved and he is allowed to work because i dont make enough money on my own to get our own place.

it is annoying and yes there is not much privacy, but as long as they know that you are married they should respect your space and whatnot.

i am sure my husband would not have liked it if i told him he could not live with me, but had to live in a room in someone else's house while we wait for AOS approval. IMHO that is kind of mean and insensitive to bring someone from everything they know and put them all alone in some random room without anyone they know.

trust me, even though it is awkward, it is WORTH IT to have my husband here with me after all the time being apart during waiting for his K-1 stuff.

We sent my husband's all together with 1 cover letter that indicated everything in the packet.

I kind of broke it down like an outline form with each of the 3 applications as headings in bold and then under each heading, listed the supporting documents included with each.

yes even though you are sending them together, you have to treat each application as it's own and follow the instructions and requirements for each separate application

ETA - for example you need 2 passport style photos for the I485, 2 for the ead and 2 for the ap if you are applying for that.

Found the new office easily too and for a Saturday, we were lucky to find a parking spot just around the corner from it. There were barely any people inside, but my husband filled out the form & everything was smooth sailing from there. In & out in 20 mins

Yes it's normal if your USCIS office is opened on Saturdays. My husband's biometrics is next Saturday and I know of a couple others' who have Saturday appointments also.

When did your fiancee have her medical?

The DS3025 vaccination chart should have been included inside the envelope she would have turned in at the POE. They(the docs giving her medical) should have given her a copy of that before she left the office.

My husband had his medical in London on June 30th. They gave him a copy of the DS3025. Because this was around the time period where they were switching the rules for the TB Test and requiring the I-693 form, we didn't send in the I-693. We only sent a copy of his DS3025 with a letter explaining when his medical was, and that everything should have been included in that and we would provide whatever else they needed if it was necessary.

Some people have had luck doing it this way, some get an RFE for it...but we figured why should we spend an outrageous amount of money to have someone copy info from one sheet to another and sign their name if we can try to do it the other way. If we get an RFE, we will comply with what they need.

I've seen a few differing dates as to when the new rules officially went into effect, but I'm thinking if your fiancee had her medical around july/august then you will have to have the TB skin test and also have the I-693 filled in by a USCIS Civil Surgeon. Unfortunately, many CSes will refuse to sign the sheet if they're only doing a transcription from the DS3025 and will insist they perform a full medical even though it's not necessary for K-1.

I've read the instructions and I've seen the example forms ,but I still have questions.

1.Form I-485 .---I don't know what is my middle name after marriage?My family name is his fam name and before marriage I used to have a first name and a middle name.Some people told me that after marriage my middle name is actually my maiden family name??I'm so confused.We just got married on Saturday.

then what should I write at the field Address?The state?..I've seen in the example C/O?That is COLORADO?

----From where do I take my Alien number?Do I have smth like that?

----If I already have a SSN,from last year(J1-work&Travel visa) should I use it in these forms?

2.Form I-130 ...at the field information about your relative.I've seen in the example they filled out the address from the foreign country.That means we should write down my address from my country?Or that's an example for k3 visa.I came with K1.

at q 14 shoul I put none or K1-visa?

I don't have all my husband's paperwork with me since I'm at work, but what i CAN answer for you is that your A# should be on your K-1 visa in your passport.

It is the red number on the Visa

I added all 3 of them to my USCIS online thing since my account was still there from Rob's I-129F app and all 3 are in the system
