How long does it take to get Instruction Package Letter (PKT3 – K) after "ready" status. Mine is at the London Embassy.
It took us about 3 or 4 weeks I think. My fiancee is London Embassy as well.

I got this message from NVC after inquiring about where my welcome letter was, because we had not received anything after our I-129f was approved.
Then I filled out the DS-160, and the status on CEAC website said "ready" for like one day then changed to this:
The NVC finally sent me my invoice ID and beneficiary ID etc., so when I tried to pay the fees on their page I got this notification:
I'm not really sure what to do/ what the next step here is?
When it goes ready you should be able to go here to create a profile and pay the fees.

My fiancee has scheduled her medicals and interview, but one of the things it says to bring is a copy of the letter or email you receive from the consular section. Does anyone know who to contact to get a copy of that if we've not received it yet?

K1 is a weird one. It's non-immigrant but some embassies treat it as immigrant.
All I know is that you have to fill DS-160, NOT DS-260.I'm wondering if I just put the DS 160 number in there. The other option doesn't list K visa at all.

Does anyone know what shipping method the NVC uses to send files to the embassy? Is it electronic or physically shipped?

You have to wait another 2 weeks, maybe less. Try sending them an inquiry in about 8 days asking for a case number.
Will do. Is that through the public inquiries form on the travel.state.gov site?

We got NOA 2 for our K1 visa on 4/21. We are still waiting on the NVC number. In the mean time, would it be a good idea to start a draft for the DS-160 at around 45 days in anticipation? I saw that it can be saved for 30 days.
My fiancee is in England. When the DS-160 is filed does she need to schedule the medical and interview herself or do they do that and she'll attend at the give times? Is it possible to make an appointment before filing the form?

I am hoping someone can help me find some info about working. My fiancee is in the UK working for a UK based company. They would like to have her continue working there when she moves here, if possible. Does anyone know if it's possible for her to continue to work for an overseas company once she moves here and we are married? Any links or resources you have would be appreciated.

Visa will be issued in the name printed in her passport.
If her passport is still in her married name, she should update it prior to her interview.
Her passport has her legal name as her married name. For example: her name is Sue Smith, but her maiden name/birth name is Sue Jones. She's been Sue Smith for 15 years and that is the name we put on the application but the name on the approval letter is Sue Jones. Would this be an issue?

Question for you all. I got our approval letter today but it has my fiancee's maiden name on it, not her legal surname. She kept her married name after her divorce. Is it protocol to use her birth name or do they need to correct it?

My fiancee and I are compiling documents to take to the interview in anticipation of getting NOA2 in the next couple months. We have our divorce docs from our previous marriages and she has her marriage certificate. Do we need a copy of my marriage certificates as well? I'm the petitioner.

My fiancee is in the UK and we are gathering information to prepare for getting the NOA 2 in the next couple of months. One thing we're running in to is finding her immunization records. Her GP's office has said they only have records back to 2013 when records were digitized. Has anyone ran in to this and is there a work around? Also, will they accept the immunization information since 2013 for her and her children in the form of a secure NHS email or is there something else we should be gathering?

I had a feeling maybe that was the case but wasn't certain. I just didn't want her to miss anything if it was being sent to her.

My UK fiancee has moved since filing our application. I am struggling mightily to find out how to update her address on the USCIS site. I seem to be going in circles and can't see where to update it. The only thing I can find will only take a US address. Can anyone help?

I don't have the link to support this but somewhere down the rabbit hole I thought we saw business suit attire and specifically it said gray or blue but not black. It may have just been someone's personal account.

Hello all. My fiancee and I are hoping to get the NOA2 around late March-ish. She is in the UK. We are trying to make sure we have what is needed for the interview and have two questions we can't seem to find answers for.
Q1: how far in advance can she get her ACRO police report and it be valid? Does she have to wait until we get the request or can we get it sooner?
Q2: We saw somewhere that they request a business suit attire in a specific color at the interview. Is this still required or is it more casual now? What has been your experience?
Thank you all in advance.

My fiancee was approved yesterday at her interview at the London Embassy. We want to book flights for 5 weeks from now but are worried about getting the documents back in time. Can anyone tell me how long it's taken to get their documents back from the embassy?
