  1. I moved to Las Vegas in 2006 so I would like to know if anyone knows if this guy is still on the air and what station. I have never heard him so he must not be on a good station. If we can find out his location I will go ask him about the letter and see what he has to say. Lets take a vote and let me know. Just for the record I am a born US citizen and about to marry a Filipina when she gets her on May 16th so I dont like to see things like this. Filipinos are very nice people and I have been there many times and love the country.

His show was nationally syndicated late nights(12am to 3am) on probably over 100+ stations. He retired several years ago and George Noori has been the regular host since. Art sometimes does shows on the weekends. I've listened to Art's shows for like 20 years and I can for sure tell you this is a hoax. He has many times on the air had nice and good things about the Philippines and it's people.

He even was broadcasting from there for a time. His first wife as a Filipina and then he married another Filipina a couple years back.

Some of his show's subject matter may be a bit bizarre, but if you have listened to Art for any amount of time you would of instantly known it was a hoax. In fact he is l 1 of the most open minded people your ever likely to meet.

His radio show discusses topics far from the mainstream, so without question he has made enemies long the way as his shows reveal things many would not like the public to know including many very powerful people.

It's too bad people are still passing this trash email around as Mr. Bell deserves better treatment than this.

Amen! I have listened to Art for years and never heard him trash the Philippines or Filipinos and have heard him say many good things about them over the years.. As has been said before, he has been married to two filipinas. The first wife died a few years ago and he later remarried. Don't believe a word of that letter, it was not from Art.

  2. I've been listening to Black Sabbath since the mid 70's and never get tired of hearing them, and Ozzy of course. One of the greatest metal bands ever.

  3. I would not have second thoughts about moving to the Philippines to be with my lady if she was denied a visa. I was going to retire there in several years anyway, so I would just have to make the transition earlier and live off my savings until retirement kicks in.

  4. I have heard no negative remarks from friends, coworkers or family. Perhaps its because I know and work with several Filipinos and I and my family have spent several years in Asia with the military. I have heard nothing but complete support.

  5. I know a little about the area because my deceased wife was born and raised there. Foley is about 10 or 15 miles north of Gulf Shores, which is expensive because of the beachfront property. Property in Foley is rising too and it there appears to be some commercial development ongoing because everytime I go back there the town is bigger and there are new buildings. The weather is warm and humid in the summer and fair in the winter. The people are friendly. There is a fair amount of traffic in the summer with all the tourists and beach-goers. A plus to the area is you are near Pensacola, FL and Mobile, AL. I know Pensacola has excellent hospitals, and Mobile is pretty good too. If I were to move there I would probably live in Robertsdale or Summerdale, which are about 10 or so miles north on Hwy 59. The property prices are lower there and the towns aren't growing as fast. They are more rural too. One of the best things about Alabama is the low taxes. I see you are from Texas so you have no state income taxes, but high property taxes. Alabama has low income taxes and low property taxes. I would have no problems relocating to the area. Hope this helps in your decision.
