  1. I am still waiting for my i130nto be approved, but I have taken a second job while I am waiting. Do I need to report this to USCIS?
  2. Yes, my husband lives abroad. He is not filing taxes as he has never been in the US.
  3. Does anyone know anything about taxes? I've read that it's good to file your taxes as married as additional proof when you need to show your income during the NVC phase . I am applying for the Spousal Visa for my husband. We got married with 2 days left in 2022. Does anyone know if I can file as married or, if I should file as married? Any advice is greatly appreciated ❤️
  4. Hi everyone, Weird question, does anyone know how the USCIS officer reads applications that were filed online? Do they read it as the pdf thats created after the fact or do they read the online summary? In the summary of the application online, everything is correct but I just noticed when viewing the pdf that is created from filling online, my husband's address is cut off because it's too long, even though the online application allowed me to eneter the entire address. Is this a big deal? His address is in the i130a in the additional information section. Didn't think to add it to the additional section for the online i130 because there was no maximum amount of characters For the online version
  5. I am finishing up the I130A and I just want to make sure that I should fill in Part 6. On a previous question is states "I can read and understand English, and I have read and understand every question and instruction on this form and my answer to every question." I have filled out the information for my husband and I do not feel that if I checked yes that it would be an honest statement as he is not quite fluent in reading English yet. I was going to list myself as the Prepare when it states: "At my request, the preparer name in Part 6., prepared this form for me based only upon information I provided or authorized.". I am wondering if I should leave part 6 blank because it states: "Provide the following information about the preparer you used to complete Form I-130A if he or she is different from the preparer used to complete the Form I-130 filed on your behalf" I did not use a Preparer for the i130 because me, the petitioner, is fluent in English. So should I fill out Part 6 on the i130a with my information, or leave it blank? I was planning on filling it out. Thank you in advance! Almost finished with this application
  6. I've seen some people say that if you apply for a k3 visa after you submit your i130, it can make the USCIS process your i130 faster. Does anyone have experience with this? Are there any repercussions for applying for a k3 after you submit you i130? My husband lives in Morocco for reference.
  7. This is why I am confused. 2 people saying 2 different things. It makes more sense to fill out 62a-c and list Casablanca Morocco as the location. Is there any harm that can come if I fill it out? It seems better to fill that section out as opposed to not fill it out. Has anyone gotten their visa stuck from not filling it out? I agree It makes more sense to me to fill it out. What would be an instance to leave them both blank?
  8. Hi everyone, I am filing out the I130. I am stuck on the part 4 Items 61.a-62.c. My husband lives in Morocco. I have seen conflicting reports on what to fill out. I have been told to leave it blank since my husband is from Morocco he is not eligible for adjustment of status. I have also been told to just fill out section 62.a since he will be filing from Morocco. Which one is correct? Do I leave this section blank? OR do I fill out just 62.a? For Reference I have included a screen shot of the form that I am confused about. Thank you so much! This community is so helpful!
  9. My husband is from Morocco. They speak Arabic but on a lot of their Documents they use Roman letters as well For example, even his identification card is in Arabic and French. On the online I130, there is a section that says: "Information about beneficiary in their native written language If the beneficiary's native written language does not use Roman letters, upload a document with his or her name and foreign address in their native written language. If you have a text or word processing document you would like to submit for evidence, send us a PDF version of the file. When saving your file, select PDF as the file type to save." I am wondering if I need to upload a document with his name and address in Arabic only? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you in advance.
