  1. Hello, My wife just became a US Citizen. She would like to file I-130 for her parents. She also has a 20 year old unmarried sister that lives with her parents in India. We can file separate I130 for each parent. Does her sister qualify to be a minor under her parents file or do we need to file her through brother/sister category which take long time? What is the fastest way for my wife's 20 year old sister to come to USA?
  2. Hi, My wife was able to get an appointment for her stamp. She received a 1 year stamp today. We requested emergency appointment because she started a new job and the employer asked for a proof of eligibility. It took 21 days with emergency request.
  3. Hi, Has the lawsuit helped you in anyway for your I-751 or N-400 process?
  4. I reached out to my Congress rep and both senators of Texas. All 3 said they dont have the power to get the appointment for me. There is nothing they can do about it. They can help check the status of I751 but not much more.
  5. Thank you so much for all the replies. As much as it sucks, it's assuring to know I am not the only one in this situation. Has anyone actually tried just going to the office without appointment and asking for a stamp? I read couple Reddit comments where people were able to go to the office in 2022 and get it done but they mentioned it was done by luck. Also they weren't from Dallas office. I also spoke to couple lawyers and they mentioned they have clients in the same situation. There isn't anything they can do at this point. I plan on speaking to more lawyers and get further opinions.
  6. Hello, My wife filled her I751 in May of 2019 and filed her N400 in June of 2020. Her I751 is still not processed. Her initial 18 month extension expired. She was able to get a I551 stamp on her passport in February 2022 for 6 months. That expired end of August 2022. She called USCIS to get another 6 month stamp on August 2 which is within USCIS guidelines. She was told in 30 days, they will schedule an appointment at the Dallas USCIS office. After 30 days passed, she received an email from Dallas office notifying that they dont have any appointments. We tried multiple times to get an appointment but Dallas office keeps saying they dont have any appointments available. We even tried to get an emergency appointment but still received the same reply. We asked if a different office can stamp her passport and we were told it goes by zip code and there is no way to go to another office. We have out of country travel scheduled for October 21,2022 and November 5, 2022. At the moment, my wife does not have anything that says she is a permanent resident. Has anyone gone though something like this before?
