i always took not praying at that time as just relaxing and getting a little bit more rest, as opposed to a "purity" issue, but that's just me.

1) Yes submit the I-485 and the supporting documents to the chicago lock box, and you may request to join them to the I-130, I did that but that, and it didnt work for me (but I filed the i 130 at LA so that may be the reaseon) But there was another person of this forum, he or she succedded in requesting for them to be joined. So yes do so, it is worth a try, you've got nothing to loose

Just attach a paper explaining in detail.

2) for my i 130 it took quite a while, you can see in my timeline, but again i filed in LA. Dont wait for tht I-130 to be approved, file now. It doesnt matter how long the I 130 takes, the i-485 is what is really important because that will adjust the status, the I-130 wont.

3) It has not affected me what so ever. My timeline with the AOS has been great, I have gotten the biometrics done with everyone else who filed everything concurently. And I received my EAD in a timely manner.

I realize that you are a hillary supporter, But I truly cannot understand how you can defend her statement, she obviously has some evil wishful thinking. But yet you want to blame it on 'soundbites'.

1)do you have a SS #??

If you do, go to the ss office, and get a card, it should say on it valid for employment, and if this is for a woman, go ahead and change the name also to the married name.

and if you dont already have a ss # apply for one.

2)to the DMV you go, go forward with getting you license/permit or a state ID

3)wait for the appointment letter

4)Most importantly, enjoy life!!!

I filed mine on Nov, 07 2006

and recieved the replacement on Jan, 30 2007

Get a replcement passport copy from the consulate

Now I I dont feel that you should send in the aos without the required info, because you will receive and rfe, and lord forbid, if you dont have the info you need by the time you get the rfe, that will cause troouble.

I am so sorry for what happned. And yoy are right getting the replacement passport is the easy part. Because recieving the I-94 does take longer. May I also add that the uscis operater was surprised as to how quickly i recived my I-94, so file the needed paperwork, and if I were you I would also make an infopass apontment, explaine to the imm. officer that the 90 days will be up, maybe it will get expedited.

well i noticed that people that were transferred to csc got their cards quite quickly, but people like you and I that have not been transferred got the card in a maximum of 10 business days. congrats again

I don't think Obama is saying he wants to regulate how much we eat and what we drive etc..

he is just saying that we can't do all that and expect other countries to just sit back and not complain....

you are reading right, its exactly what he said. It seems people that are aginst him are really digging to find something to hold against him!

Obama can kiss my a$$ if he thinks he can dictate what I eat, what I drive, and what temperature my home is. If he is so eager to implement these changes, then stop driving around in gas guzzlers, stop staying in air conditioned hotels, and stop attending the various soirees and dinners that keep his belly full. Frankly, if you are not prepared to live by the standards you wish to impose on others, then your word is cr*p and I refuse to listen to your drivel.
