my guess would be you will get approved by tomorrow😆 that’s what happened to me as well (changed from 4 months to 4 weeks, step 3 to 4 the day before approval) maybe you could check with Emma about the current status or just wait another day or two…anyway An early congratulations to you!

my I-485 was approved!!! (tears…) Got the notification from case tracker app, here is the timeline:

There is still no approval notice under my 485 documents online...but my status is in step 4 (case decision) instead of step 3(attend interview), and estimated time has changed from 4 months to 4 weeks compared to yesterday.

Ok, I asked two Emma (just to double check) and they both told me my case was approved and card is awaiting production 12-12-2023 today, but my online account case status still showing response to RFE received, guess we will see! I still can't believe this...Hope my wish (get approval on 2 year anniversery of K1 application ---> 12-15-2021) could come ture🥹

Below is a helpful and informative post I found online regarding case transfer from NBC to FO (and eventually FO to NBC...) ================================================================ You will never get a transfer notice from NBC to a field office because it's not a physical transfer unlike when a case moves from one service center to another. There are 6 service centers ( Texas, Nebraska, California, Vermont, Potomac and Missouri that is NBC) . Under NBC, there are 89 field offices. When case goes to FO from NBC, it's an electronic transfer unless it's going to local FO for interview. Any transfer between service centers is an actual physical transfer of case papers and hence you get notified and get a physical receipt. 'Case transfer' status means, service center which had your case till now confirming transfer. 'Case transferred and new office has adjudication' means new office had accepted the case adjudication. By the way, these statuses are just and electronic translations. Look at it as a bank transfer. First status is like you sent a check to a party through your bank, second status is their back acknowledging that they received the check. It take few days the party will receive the cash. Same here, after these two statuses show up, it takes 2 to 4 weeks your case is physically transfers and get routed in at NBC. Once it receives in NBC, it electronically gets transferred to a FO and that's when Emma agents will tell you what office it is. Until that happens, you will get random answers like, case is at NBC, case is still at TSC/NSC, case was never transferred or transferred back. Don't believe those answers. It will just raise your blood pressure. In my case, my case transfer status was happened on Feb 15th and 16th. Until 3/15 I was getting random answers. Finally on 3/19, agents started to tell me that my case was transferred to San Fernando Valley FO. So it took almost a month to transfer to NBC physically. Hope this helps..

Sorry to hear that I also renewed my CA DL and upgraded to real ID on 2023-11-17 (using EAD card and I-765 online approval notice, I-94 expired as well), they told me I will receive it in mail within 3-4 weeks, so far 3 weeks almost past and still nothing...maybe I should also give them a call to ask for the status. Hope everything is fine.

That's how I get to know the tracking number of my EAD, and AOS transfer date from NBC to FO....

i mean…you don’t have to wait for it to come. I kinda regret that i didn’t submit corrections before they gave me RFE…didn’t get the time to do that due to thanksgiving trip. If i did that on time, I could get an approval by now

I answered "No", which should be "Yes". They need me to provide additional info on the rest of the questions, quote from my RFE: Failed to answer Public Charge inadmissibility questions. You indicated that you are not subject to the public charge ground of inadmissibility under INA 212(a)(4) when answering Part 8., Item Number 61. on your Form I-485. Therefore, you did not answer Part 8., Item Numbers 62.-68 related to the public charge ground of inadmissibility. However, you are subject to the public charge ground of inadmissibility because you are applying for adjustment of status as a family-based applicant. Please provide your answers to Part 8., Item Numbers 62.-68. on Form I-485 related to the public charge ground of inadmissibility. Place your initials and the date next to each answer and return your completed Form I-485 with your response to this notice.

RFE received today lol, and it is related to the public charge questions I answered wrong. fyi USCIS are expending myProgress to Form-485. Now we can see the “estimated” timeline on MyUSCIS now. Mine showing 4 months….. btw Happy Thanksgiving to y’all!

Once you got the online access code, you can upload solicited evidence in myUSCIS under the case you want.

I also answered with No, but haven’t received any RFE yet. Guess we will see…Please keep us posted if your RFE is related to this question. I know a lot of people are confusing about it (including me). Still don’t know what’s the right answer…

Got the EAD card today!!! 🙏 It's delivered via USPS Priority Mail, took 3 business days.

interesting…i didn’t know k1 examination included 693. If that’s the case, then I think it’s fine. Personal experience: i found a doctor, did some blood tests for antibody, got pfizer covid vaccine and flu shot (doctor told me the covid vaccine I got from China is not recognized by USCIS…)

DS3025 is for K1 visa medical examination before entering US, I-693 form is for AOS after entering US, which means you need to find a doctor (on USCIS website) in US to complete this form for you. It’s more safe (avoid RFE) to submit 693 with AOS, but like I said, submitting 3025 could just be enough. You don’t have to include 693 if you already gave them 3025. That’s the form you received after you get your medical examination for your visa before entering US. If you don’t have it, you need to bring every vaccination records you have and go find a USCIS designated doctor that can do I-693 form for you. fyi: I did not include DS-3025 (although i had one) but I-693 form for my AOS package. As far as i know, 3025 is not necessary for AOS but 693 is much more required for immigration purposes. Some people submit 3025 but still got RFE for missing 693.

maybe you should try your luck to walk-in at your ASC perhaps.... I was successfully walk-in and got it done on 11/2 instead of 11/16 at SF early in the morning. I knew my ASC accept walk-in, because I did the same thing for my F1 OPT EAD bio appt at the same place in 2017😂
