Palawan got a reaction from Diane and Chris in Getting a K-1 Visa fastest?
My timeline is the standard, things will go back to normal.
Just in case you didn't notice, I was replying to you only and your comment of:
"It is no longer "fastest" overall, and the AOS process for K-1s is a big negative.
Most of us who did a K-1 even when the petition process was only 6 months (vs current 13 months) would have chosen a CR-1 in retrospect."
You said "Retrospect" the definiition is : "a survey or review of a past course of events or period of time"
Looking back no way would of have done the CR1, it was taking like a year to get NOA2, I got NOA2 around 30 days.
Please look at what you wrote when you respond

Palawan got a reaction from Crazy Cat in What Visa get's my wife (GC)'s sister and her niece to US?
If she has parents they could probably get a tourist visa but the wait time is long for interview.
My good buddy who wife if from Philippines had the father come first on tourist visa and he stayed for 6 months when his daughter had a baby, and then the mother came and she had to stay for like almost a year due to Covid and not being able to go back home.

Palawan got a reaction from Crazy Cat in When will processing times actually improve?
Not cherry picking I went to the Philippine section and this was the poster I found like after 20 seconds looking.
Plus I did K1 back in 2007 from Philippines it was NOA2 in less than 40 days, So I have historical backing to back up my data.

Why did it take so long for your Greencard to be approved?
They waived both greencard interview for my wife, She only had to do biometrics once time

Wrong again
You wrote " Immigration is a tiring, lengthy process. There are no quick paths, unfortunately "
I found the immigration to be a quick and easy process.

Correct
Poster Jorgedi make a false claim "I know you don’t agree with this, but now in 2022, even Philippines is not fast like It was in 2015."
I was just pointing out how fast thing moved back then for Philippines, Heck I even dragged my feet at scheduling the interview at the US Embassy in Manila due to it getting NOA2 so fast, I had to buy tickets to fly to Philippines, and I had to buy a one way ticket so my fiance could fly back with me, etc. I suspect I could of had interview scheduled and my fiance back in USA in less than 3 months. I wanted to spend at least a month in Philippines once I got there, since I was gonna fly over there might as well stay.

Another dude was approved in 7 days from California Service Center, I took 30 I was at a different service centers
Yes, it was fast like that back in 2015, I have looked at a few others timelines from that time, it was moving quick, but that's seems to be normal for Philippines.

I would have to disagree, Did my K1 back in 2015
Did my K1 from Philippines approved in like 30 days, my fiance was here within 4 months
Never had do a GreenCard interview for 2 year or 10 year.
My wife got her citizenship last year, seemed like it moved very quickly......

Palawan reacted to Sarge2155 in Philippines divorce question
@Tim y
We went through the annulment procedure from 2016 to 2018 before we filed our K1 and just from personal knowledge of it I would not recommend that on my worst enemy (on the other hand maybe I would) lol. The legal system and courts in the Philippines are some of the most backward and archaic in the world. One thing I will say is money truly greases the wheel there nuff said! It took just over 2 years to complete her annulment pre pandemic mind you!
My wife had a distant relative who was a lawyer at the time so the cost was at least doable roughly 250k peso court costs only and not counting greasing the wheel!
Summary it's not for the faint of heart and had I known what I was in for I perhaps would have chosen another Filipina! But I understand we can not help who we fall in love with. My recommendation to you, is shortcuts have a way of coming back to bite you hard. If she is worth it consider the annulment. I'm glad looking back on it we did it! Good luck my friend you'll need it!!!

Personally, I think this one has a lot of issues to make the parents legal. Definitely not a DIY case, and will require a very competent lawyer well versed in these types of scenarios.
