attached is as of today from USCIS website. How do you read this? it says 10.5 months from NOA1 to the day of interview? or interview not included?
Ohh by the way, their estimated processing times is getting shorter. it was at 13 months the last time I checked couple weeks ago. I dont know what this means.
Don't worry it will get much shorter in due time.
When I did mine there were two service centers, My service center was taking like 28 days, and California Service Center was approving and doing NOA 2 like in 7 days, it was quick and easy.

Actually, this time of year, you probably won't want to stay outside for long unless you are at a pool or beach.
That is my plan, My first week there I am staying at I'M Hotel in Makaita, which is suppose to have a cool pool to hang out during the day, and be close to Burgos street for night entertianment.
I also have a week booked at Boracay at Hotel Called Henna Regency, which I got the room with direct access to the pool, which is another place I choose because of the pool I want to lounge during they day and sip on cocktails and have food served to via poolside.
That leaves 2 weeks for me to fill, I was hoping to make it to Siargao Island and I will spend a week in Davao City to visit family.

Yes you can get the 59 day visa at the airport, I did it .. that was many years ago and it was late night, many in the office were gone, all I had was USD, they had to hunt for enough pesos to give me change, but we got it done.
I wonder if that option is still viable since they just recently opened the up the Philippines for international tourist.

For what its worth, I never had to do any temperature checks to go into any businesses where I was. I didn't go to very many places, but I did visit grocery stores and a few big malls. Everyone had a mask on inside, but quite a few had them below their nose (including me) and was never hassled about it from what I could see.
But everyone did have a mask and someone not wearing one would certainly stick out. I did not wear one outside however. I would personally recommend wearing one as much as it sucks, but just keep it pulled down a bit so you can at least breathe. Wearing a mask was the worst part of the entire trip for sure, aside from the heat/humidity as I much prefer cold weather.
Yep, having a to wear a mask if I am outside in the day seem like pure torture

If you are walking around business areas without a mask, you will stick out like a sore thumb. Not recommended for a foreigner to challenge authority here, or bring an attitude, or cause a local to loose face.
To each his own. Good luck.
Is this your personal opinion? Or have you been back to Philippines in the last few month? Or is this heresay you are talking about?
Bottom line is this just your opinion, or have you been in Philippines since March of 2022?

The next president takes over June 30.
I guess I better bring extra money for fines
This is the same guy whom shut the country down for 2 years ,with lockdowns, quarantines, curfews, liquor bans, travel ban, house arrest for anyone under 18 years old and over age 60, and then after almost 2 years of lockdowns they got the highest cases of covid to date, and then he figured out he was wrong?
-
Whom will ask to see this? I looked at OneHealthPass tutorial on Youtube and don't see anyone talking about this
I assume I just carry a copy with me in case I am asked for it when entering the Philippine

This guy will no longer be President when I arrive next week, he is out of here. One reason I didn't fly in this week was the silly elections and all the stupid liquor bans that imposed all over the Philippines.

From what I know about court cases in the US, if she does not respond and/or does not show up in court, a default judgement is entered against her.
Same will happen in this case. I think that is why he filed in the US because she will have to deal with these roadblocks.
I don't know of any lawyer who will not take a case like on contingent. How will they get paid in the end?
Has she considered filling for divorce in the Philippines since he is stationed there? I don't know how it works over there.
Correct, that is how it works in Texas, This guy maybe consulted an attorney and now has a quick and easy default judgement in his favor and he will come out smelling like a rose.
Smart guy

1. There is no divorce in the Philippines
2. He is not stationed there. The OP said that he is stationed in Texas.
Muslims can and do divorce in the Philippines

At malls, department stores, grocery stores, etc., you need a mask to get in the door and your temp will usually be checked. Inside those establishments you will find strict enforcement of masking by the private security. Walking around the streets, enforcement is looser now but there is some enforcement. Nobody seems to care much now if the mask is not worn properly.
In restos most people take them off right away. At resorts, the resorts ask that you wear them while walking around, but enforcement is rare.
Basically, always have one on you, and if someone points out you are not wearing it, just say "Whoops, I forgot" and put it on. Don't attempt to argue about it or you could be in hot water.
Whom would I get in hot water with?
I had planned on spending a few thousand peso for fines for not wearing one, this would be outside. I understand inside a business they could try to dictate my actions, but outside I think I will not wear one.

I was in the Philippines a couple weeks ago. I was asked to show proof of a negative COVID test, and was verbally asked if I was vaccinated. After that it was business as usual. This was prior to boarding the plane to Manila. Once arrived, there was a small piece of paper I had to fill out stating my information and intentions there. I then proceeded to a booth where the QR code on the One Health paperwork was read, and then it was on to immigration. I do believe I was asked if I had the paperwork at some point before flying there, but never had to dig it out until I actually reached the checkpoint at NAIA. Enjoy your trip.
Nice
I have am getting travel insurance this weekend, and next saturday around noon I am getting my covid test and I depart Sunday morning around 6 am to Korea and then onto Manila. Looking forward to the trip

Of course you are. That's exactly what you said in your previous posts.
Enjoy your journey. We're all here to help.
Thanks, I was curious how long processing times was, I am sure I will be asked about it when I get in the Philippines. That was really all I wanted to know.
Then sadly a pair of posters got hurt that I didn't agree with their statements regarding K1 vs CR1. And then I was told by some poster that it was hard or difficult to get a bank account or SSN. All I wanted to know was how long processing time was.
Funny thing is the one giving the information as far as I can tell have never set foot inside the Philippines.

OK Palawan,
Just to help you out so that you will enjoy this site, and this particular forum, better.
We're really not a group of people looking to just bring someone over and then get rid of them if it's not working out in 90 days. We're not married guys looking for "boys trips" back to the Philippines. Most of the people on this site are looking for something different than that.
We're focused on our loved ones. As Lemonslice said, we care about them more than ourselves and our assets. When we travel back to the Philippines, we're going to spend time with family and loved ones. We all know how some guys view the Philippines and the women there, but this simply is not that type of place.
Good luck on whatever type of journey you're on. Maybe. I hope you will learn something from this site.
Are you lost? I am married to a pinay for quite a while.
I am on Journey of Life and to have fun, Headed back to Philippines after a couple of years to reunite with my family and a former business partner and to see my old friends it been over 2 years and looking forward to it.

"Why would I keep up with processing times?"
Uh... Maybe because you care about your partner more than you care about yourself and your assets.
I rarely do that, but hopefully the process gets so long that you give up, better for your hypothetical partner.
My initial question was about processing time, I was just curious and then I get a bunch of dribble about you can't get a bank account and you can't get a SSN, So I just went with it.

Visa Journey is, sometimes, such an entertaining place......... What happened years ago is irrelevant to the current immigration process environment.
I thought you were out of here, You sure like to contradict yourself alot I have noticed

Have you paid attention to latest processing times?
I would be so happy if our IR1/CR1 timeline was 7 months! Best news ever.
We were planning on 1.5 to 2 years.
K1 would probably take the same amount of time if interviewing in Seoul as April 2021 cases are being approved so maybe beneficiary would get an interview sometime in May or June 2021. (so time difference isn't that bad).
Manila is a whole other kettle of fish... have you seen the K1 timelines?
Last 9 out of 10 interviews all received their NOA1 in 2020!
Good luck with your speedy journey. Hope you've been very clear with your potential partner that you might not marry her/ file to adjust status so she knows where she stands...
Why would I keep up with processing times? I did a K1 Philippines a few years ago, Got approved in 28 days, other guys at California Service Center were taking like 7 to 10 days for Philippines, it was quick and easy and so fast. My wife is a US Citizen now with Dual Citizenship
Funny thing is all these people giving advice have never been to Philippine but they are "Experts". One even stated it was hard difficult to get a SSN or Bank Account, what kind of nonsense is that? I had my fiance her SSN on the 3rd day in the USA and had her Bank Account open same day.
There is no way in the world I would ever sign a legal document in the Philippines, No way now how. I have a couple motorcycles in the Philippine and my name isn't on the title even though I paid for them, that way if I get in wreck they would try to come after me for damages, since the title is in a Philippines citizens name they will not try to get money regardless if you are at fault or not.
Common Knowledge for those who are familiar with Philippines is to not get married in the Philippines, and don't get your name on marriage register inside the Philippines, those have there problems that could arise in the future.
I am going back to Philippines next week for a "Boys trip" and looking forward to having a good time

OP should assure their joint sponsor they will keep the documents under careful watch and not show it to anyone but the officials who request them.
Reading consulate reviews it seems like you keep your documents on you then hand them over to an official before the documents are returned...
Don't think the security guards outside the building will ask to look at it...
Screeners inside are non American will and they take them from your possession. I was pointing out that many who work at the US Embassy are not government workers.
I called Domino in my area this week to order a pizza, It said press 1 for pizza order, and then I am talking to a robotic sounding and after trying to take my order for 8 minutes I said is this Philippines I am calling and they said yes. I then got done ordering which took 9 minutes and since my purchase was over $40 they wanted a credit card, I said if you think I am giving my credit card # to someone in the Philipines you are insane.

Embassy is "the government" ... they don't want the government knowing their SSN ? If the forms ask for the SSN, then they want that information
OP has legitimate concern and question
In case you didn't know many who work at the US Embassy are non US Citizens, from the security guards outside and the screeners inside who may see sensitive paperwork.

The test does not have to be a PCR test, and it does not have to be taken within 24 hours from flight departure. It needs to be taken within 1 day from departure. So a test taken at 1201am on Monday will qualify for a flight that departs to the US at 1159pm Tuesday.
Good to know about the one day vs 24 hours.
-
Upon arrival I (US Citizen) used to be able to extend 29 more at NAIA airport. Is this office still open at the airport? It was right before you went thru immigrations and you had to do it before getting your passport stamped upon arrival?
-
You get the right account and have enough money in the bank your US bank will waive transfer fees.

yes, they say it is more work for traveler to check, so we shall see.. your QR code, make it handy.. after you fillup with antigen info, screen shot QR code.. or print it.. I find it faster to present paper print than grabbing my phone out, trying to get it. both airline i flew (united/ana) did not ask for it.. only vaxx card, covid test and passport. I had it handy, in case they need to see it. My next flight is in 2 weeks, so we shall see what's new.
I leave in 2 weeks also
I will have my vaxxed card, covid test and passport in hand. I suspect this will be all I will need

That figures, I purchased yesterday I thought about rolling the bones and only purcahase if they asked for it.
Did you get to go thru the "Express Lane" I keep hearing about that the OneHealthPass is suppose to issue?
How long did it take you to get thru customs/Immigration? What time did you arrive in Manila?
