You are probably thinking of the US-style notary system, where the notary sees people sign documents in person. It doesn't work that way in the Philippines. Documents can be notarized without the signatories present.
Didn't work that way for me, The lawyer had to come to where I was to see my sign it in person.

Another very ambiguous government form. Please advise.
1) Should this be signed by the passenger before or AT check-in? "I declare that the above information are true..." seems to require passenger to have completed check-in before signing.
2) Should she provide her contact number, email, and contact person in the PI or in US?
3) Purpose of travel, essential??? are they still restricting now to essential travel only?
Who require this? Never seen it wanted entering the Philippines

Hi I need recommendations for travel and health insurance required by Philippine Airlines. Help please! Interested to hear from those who travelled recently. Thank you in advance.
From PAL website:
PAL doesn't require it, Philippines the country requires it.
Stay far away from Safety Wing, if you try to use the insurance they will give you the run around, I call them a scam.

my husband just flew Delta to Moroc and needed mask when landing
and is flying back to Atlanta today and the stewards say a mask will be needed when landing in Atlanta
I am flying Delta from Icheon to DFW, and I can promise you a mask will not be needed when I land in Dallas, nor will it be required when I fly on the plane.

I just flew back from PH on the 5/19. I used Padlab antigen test. Located very close to the airport. It was quick and easy. I got my results in less than an hour. To save yourself some time pre register online and walk right up and pay cash. If you are far from the airport there are a lot of DOH accreddited test sites in many SM parking lots.
Thank You for this
Do they give you paper copy or email it to you?

Wrong again, Maybe you misunderstood me
My Question was in case you forgot or didn't read it:
Flying from Atlanta to Incheon (S. Korea) on Delta Airlines, Does Delta Require a Mask.
I flew this week and no mask was required from Atlanta to Korea.

It has nothing to do with the difficulty of driving, it's about the comfort of not driving. I just sit back, relax, and I still end up where I want to be.
See it's much different for me. First of all when I want to go somewhere I want to jump in a car or on a motorbike and go. I am tall and no way am I getting in a trike or jeepney and I find many of the taxi too small, I make they pull up the passenger seat so I can stretch my legs if I take a taxi or grab at the airport.
I like to have my personal freedom and not sit around and wait for someone to fetch me, plus I trust my driving much more than someone elses.

Having worked with Philippine immigration in the past, I can tell you that you are fine if you are doing remote work for a few weeks as long as you are continued to be paid from the US, plus you will not be the signatory to any documents while working in the Philippines. It would technically be considered a business trip.
For people who are considering to do long remote work periods in the Philippines, (for example 6 months, 1 year, etc) Immigration was in the process of creating a system for this but Covid came and everything was put on hold. I was back in the Philippines during Covid for 3 months and did remote work for a US based company without any issues. However your US based company is worried that you will establish "permanent establishment" (PE), which technically could create tax liabilities for them. For a few weeks of working remotely, this will not happen.
I previously worked in the Philippines on a 9g, but those type of visas are for people who are living in the Philippines for years. You will be fine, both from an immigration and personal tax perspective, plus your company will be fine from a corporate tax perspective.
What about a 13A Visa:
I have been told that as a US Citizen you are not allowed to do alot of jobs, one in particular is like construction work or be a General Contractor.

I drive quit a bit in Philippines, Never in manila area but I don't have a car or motorbike to drive there.
In Davao city if they give you ticket usually 500 pesos and an apology will get the issue fixed.

I've never driven in the Philippines and I plan to keep it that way. If we're just going somewhere in town, we grab a trike. If we're traveling, we hire a driver. Either way, I just sit back and relax.
I never understood a person not wanting to drive in the Philippines, I can see maybe Manila with all the traffic but anywhere else is cake

Yes you can get the 59 day visa at the airport, I did it .. that was many years ago and it was late night, many in the office were gone, all I had was USD, they had to hunt for enough pesos to give me change, but we got it done.
As of now you can't extend at the airport upon arrival

A350-900, nice plane.
When I flew to the Philippines, on United, masks where not required until we deplaned in Guam and remained on all the way into Manila.
Should be the same for Delta.
Yes, that is how it seems to work. US carriers don't require a mask going to another country where masks are required, my personal 2 examples are Korea and Mexico we were mask free

That is pretty much common knowledge
I fly to Mexico they require mask at the airport but not on the plane if flying American Airlines
So I am gonna go out on a ledge her and assume you have no clue if they do or not..........

Korea still has mask mandates. So, I assume they want incoming passengers to wear them.
Although they just lifted the outdoor mask mandate on Monday.
By the time you fly they might lift indoor mask mandates.
I am just transition in the airport, quick layover

Does Delta require a mask on this leg of the flight?

Great that it worked out for you, Palawan. It hasn't been working out anywhere near as well for people who filed from 2020 onwards. The VJ archives are full of posts from people who filed from 2020 onwards who had to deal with months or years of waiting.
Yes, it's called the Covid Pandemic
Where have you been living under a rock?

This post is from January 9, 2022. OP's mom has since applied for a visa and has an interview in 2023...
I know quite a few people who get confused about rules for different countries.
For example, many people think visa runs to Canada or Mexico are okay and a good way to reset your allowed time in the US. (spoiler- they aren't)
Also, you can read this post...
That post was 3 years ago, Has nothing to do with her recent post
If she wants her mom to live in the USA she would of gotten US Citizenship and applied for her, easy peasy

She mentions she gave birth 2 months ago and wants her mom to come over to the US to help (in other words live with her???- you can disagree if you don't read the OP the same way)... she also doesn't mind how long the process takes.
This might suggest she wants her mom to come over, stay and help her long term with the baby. In my country, parents help out with their grandchildren for many years.
There are some countries where your parents can come on a visit visa and stay and then change to a visa that allows them to stay to look after your children (even if you are not a citizen of that country).
So, just giving a heads up about the rules of the tourist visa in the US.
OP never stated she wanted her mom to come over and live with her, he words were
" What do I need to do first, I am now a resident of the U.S for 8 years. I gave birth 2 months ago and wanting help from my mom. She has savings account and a job for 20 years. I need a step by step process on what to do. I dont mind if it will take a year or so, as long as I start her papers now. "
This is a US Visa forum for visa to the USA, not to other countries.

Have a look at this page.
Be aware, you/ your mom will have to schedule her own appointment after the DS160 has been completed.
There is currently a 370 day wait time in Manila.
I'm not sure if that means she'll only be able to interview in 370 days OR she'll only be able to make an appointment in 370 days.
Members in this forum check for available appointments (for their respective countries) once a day.
Your mom will have a max stay of 6 months if she is able to obtain the tourist visa.
This visa is not for living in the US.
The OP is asking about a tourist visa, why would you mention a tourist visa isn't for living in the US?
I see nowhere she implied she wanted her mother to live her, from what I have seen most older folks from Philippines don't want to live in USA they have their life in Philippines.

I will never get married in the Philippines, as a US Citizen it's can be risky and can lead to legal issues in the future.
