Hey guys, just a quick question… I had two separate applications for ead C09 and c31. So last year USCIS issued EAD c09 but used my c31 case number in the card. So yesterday they approved my c09 application and issued a card with c09 category again. i am confused why would they issue two EAD cards to me with same category if one of the applications was for c31? 🙄

Hello, My I-485 status changed to "Notice returned by the Post Office" today. So i have sent an inquiry to get a copy, sent an email to Senator's Office to make an inquiry on my behalf as well. Waiting.

I have read on other forums it happened to many people too. Their C31 got approved but it says C09 in paper approval with the receipt number from c31 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes but how can they send approval for c09 with receipt # from c31 from feb if receipt for c09 was never gotten haha idk what they are doing there… maybe they just got so exhausted from my letters that they decided to shut me up for a while and let me work even if the receipt # is wrong lmao

I did. I put c31 in that feb one and put c09 in sep one but i do not understand why they use receipt # from my c31 and never sent noa1 for c09 or is it what they normally do just merge the receipts ##? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Let’s say my receipt number for c31 is EADXYZ dated 02/2022 and i never got receipts for c09 submitted in sep 2022 so approval notice i got says we approved your i-765 with receipt #EADXYZ dated 02/2022 but category is c09 so i am now confused 😕

Yes i-765 but the receipt number is c31 as i applied two different forms c31 and c09. so the approval shows receipt # from my c31 case with c09 category and the receipt date is also from c31 i submitted c31 in feb 2022 and c09 in sep 2022

I am confused… just got my approval for I-765 by mail with the receipt number linked to my c31… the approval notice contains C31 receipt number with c 09 category 😕 is it a mistake or do they really use same receipt number for both of my categories? i have never received receipt notices for c09

Just an update from senator's office on my RFE submitted on 04/14/2022... Nothing new lol

Usually when you file for divorce you indicate that in the form. Once your divorce is finalized you will get a Divorce Certificate (should be ordered by yourself once Decree is issued) with already your maiden name. ***At least that is how it works in Colorado

It is not even about my case now. I just feel like piece of helpless #### now that cannot even do anything about it. They got my response to RFE on 04/14/2022 about good moral character and i am still waiting. 4 years of my life dumped into one big hole.

This is screwed up. They have 18 pages of police report that he hit me i. 2019, then when i moved out in 2020 he broke in to my car vandalized it, broke in to my house, and every time my son was present. And my neighbor was a witness and police officers have dash cam and he has previous arrests. Omg i am so frustrated! It means they will always be on abusive us citizen side! Pedophiles, maniacs will freely walk abusing women arpund. It is because he hired and paid a lawyer and i am sitting here like some sort of trash who cannot afford even any legal services. And they saw bunch of his emails calling me asian ####### and flat chested asian for white guys. I am not even southern asian! I am from central asia it was part of former ussr. this is just unfair. So as per their decision i should sit here and wait until he comes and kills me then that would be enough evidence for them … sorry i am just frustrated… i feel like Colorado never defend women. Dear All, I have a question... so my abuser's case is set for trial in august. He pled not guilty. I have not attended previous hearings due to not feeling like i want to. My question is what would happen to me if he will be found not guilty because he can afford good lawyers even if the police report states otherwise and there was a witness of what happened two years ago?

I have submitted my I-360 in July 2021 and got my NOA1 (receipt notice) in November 2021

When I contacted the senator's office right after i sent my response to RFE they told me the longest wait should be 90-120 days for the decision after response to RFE and they asked to contact them again if i will not get anything after 90 days of waiting. But I guess it depends on what state you are in. Colorado office is usually very prompt and responsive. I will keep posted if anything changes
