    Thanks! I just worry they might sometimes call the petitioner to ask questions about the financial sponsorship form. It's the consulate in Guangzhou.

    I sponsored my dad and he went to the consulate for interview a month ago. Now his IR5 visa is still under admin processing. Will the consulate ever call me, the petitioner? I recently changed my phone number and I couldn't find anywhere on NVC website to update my phone number. If the consulate tries to call my old number, I'm screwed. I hope they reach out by Email instead.
