  1. Well, first semester will be over soon. My son will be home for Christmas break in about 10 days.

It'll be good to have him here.

I've gotten used to him being gone. He's responsible and mature and I know he's getting along fine. His grades are good and he's got plenty to keep him busy up there.

We talk on Yahoo. We used to talk every night but now not so much. I'm fine with that.

But tonite, when I said goodbye to him, I felt blue.

I think I'm gonna go make some oatmeal and just try to remember this is the way it's supposed to be.

It's the matter of letting him know how much you love and care for him. I think everything's gonna be fine, don't forget his presents!

  2. We recently moved (about 2 months ago) and acquired a new phone number. Apparently the phone company recycles numbers pretty damn quick because we keep getting calls from debt collection agencies asking for the previous 'owner.'

Last night I received a call and I thought it was long distance because it was kind of echoey and there was that lovely static buzz. After saying hello and the person responded I paused for a moment thinking they would say who they were etc. (you know, like NORMAL people) Instead this rude woman (who had only said hello at this point) said, Well, are you going to say something? I can hear you so I know you're there." Excuse me?! You called me! You haven't even identified yourself!

Completely rude! At this point she finally identified herself and started telling me that this was the number the person gave so therefore I HAD to know about this debt problem. Ummm, what can I tell you? The phone company cut them off before you did! It is not my fault they are still giving out their old disconnected number! It is not my fault you gave them credit recently and they ran out on it... Stop calling me!

I think we're going to have to request a new number from the phone company.. sigh.

Ya just get an unlisted/non-published number.

Does not necessarily solve the issue at hand, particularly if it is a recent recycle and the previous assignee was indebt up to there eyeballs or someone is simply giving out your number totally by chance.

Their system is totally out dated and not in coordinate with technical department for fast releasing of numbers to new subscribers, it's really a hard for the debt callers to track the right person.

  3. Seriously? I'd throw his pillow out of the bedroom and slam the door. *I'm obviously very mature*

    :blink::thumbs:

Make him realize... "*I'm obviously very mature*"

  4. I don't think I could shoot a feral cat myself, but to each his own.

i've done it before. feral cats are hail on quail populations. once fluffy goes wild what reasoning keeps them alive when they are destroying wildlife?

i shoot out a cou;le but with a beebee gun and also aim to miss....they get the message and stay away from sanita's birds..

That's what we also do here, my father sometimes load only air guns with no bullet letting the target see him aiming at him.

  5. If I could obtain one of the powers of heroes, i want Mr. Parkman's ability to read minds.

For I always want to read my partner's mind, so I could give her what she needs :D.

  6. TULSA, Okla. - Richard Roberts told students at Oral Roberts University Wednesday that he did not want to resign as president of the scandal-plagued evangelical school, but he did so because God insisted.

God told him on Thanksgiving that he should resign the next day, Roberts told students in the university's chapel.

"Every ounce of my flesh said 'no'" to the idea, Roberts said, but he prayed over the decision with his wife and his father, Oral Roberts, and decided to step down.

Roberts said he wanted to "strike out" against the people who were persecuting him, and considered countersuing, but "the Lord said, 'don't do that,'" he said.

Does he attending Church now or wanted to become a Pastor?

  7. We had our stupidest fight on what we want to name for our neighbor's new female puppy. I want Shenny Lou but she wants Shenny Lyn. IT lasts for couple of hours until our neighbor's daughter named her Shenny.

  8. I have Dell Latitude D600 and it's enough for me.

Most things people looking for are the memory, video card, Hard disk capacity, cpu speed and few more. Better check first those things. And go for designed for XP.

  9. Gonna check Beowulf next weekend. My friends says it has great effects but only fair in story.

But I was waiting for the movie Cloverfield, I'm so excited.

  10. The sound amplification is working perfectly. I think the problem is on the signal part of the tv. Maybe some device there is defective that couldn't filter the signal perfectly.

You can search the model on internet for manual. I just wondering about "no exchanges", is it illegal?!
