  1. (confirmed by the AP as unaltered)

    The AP caption reads:

Maybe he forget he's still an American, what a mental block.

  2. We moved to our house in October.

The previous owner had been here 15 years. Their name was Hardesty.

Today in the mail we got a piece of junk mail for Mr. Cale.

Mr. Cale was the owner who sold to Hardesty.

Was it dated recently? Mr. Cale might still using that address.

  3. I've played the first and second CoD, but haven't tried any others. How are they? Worth getting? I haven't played a good FPS in a long time.

COD4 is just like the others except with modern weapons, nades, claymores, stun and smoke grenades. M16 M4 P-90. But you have to gain rank via killing guys.

This makes my interest for CoD4, I wanna give it a try this weekend.

    Byrd Hospitalized After Fall

WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Robert Byrd of West Virginia was hospitalized Tuesday after complaining of back pain following a fall at his home, his spokesman said.

Byrd, 90, the Democratic chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee and the longest-serving senator in history, was staying overnight at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for observation, said spokesman Jesse Jacobs. It was not immediately clear whether he had suffered broken bones.

  5. Massive power outage in Florida...

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A malfunction at a single electrical substation caused a cascading blackout that shut down a nuclear plant Tuesday and briefly cut power to about 3 million people from Daytona Beach through the Florida Keys.

Florida Power & Light says the company is still trying to determine what caused the failure and fire. The company says such equipment failure should not have caused the widespread blackouts.

In Central Florida, outages were reported in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola. Seminole and Volusia Counties. Most customers were restored by late afternoon.

  6. I am personally pretty unimpressed with Hill's time in the Senate. She used all her time to cozy up to Republicans, even joining a weekly (daily?) prayer group with fundies. Her bills have been puffy.
The question is, how will Obama's experience contrast with McCain's 25+ years? Where McCain has often taken a stand unpopular with his own party? When Obama was voting "not present" in the Illinois legislature. These are questions Obama supporters need to worry about, if they are serious about taking the White House, not constantly comparing him with Hillary.
Ya, just watch this unfold. I'm looking forward to it. Hillary could have beat McCain, but Obama will crash and burn when the going gets rough.
Yeah right. Hillary would never win a general election, and early polls favor Obama against McCain, but when Hillary is pitted against McCain, McCain is ahead.

Stop making sense already. Didn't you know that the Hillbots don't trust any poll that doesn't have Hillary leading?

Gotta giggle, though, when the Hillbots talk about Obama not being able to stand up to pressure even though he stood up just fine when he worked his way up from way down below to the lead angainst Ms. Inevitable. Hillary, on the other hand, gets nothing but shrill ever since she fell behind.

Many people who criticize Obama for lacking substance are not necessarily "hillbots" but independent voters. If Obama is the candidate, the election in November is against McCain not Hillary. The diffence in their experience and voting records are stark. Obama and his supporters need to prepare to answer these questions.

Obama really needs to be aware of that, plus if he won, there will be a huge expectations.

  7. Baty said the psychiatrist prescribed the medications, a fact that made her so "nervous" that she tried to persuade Kazmierczak to stop taking one of the drugs.

She said he had stopped taking the antidepressant three weeks before the Valentine's Day rampage on the NIU campus in DeKalb, Illinois, which left five students dead and 16 wounded. He then killed himself.

civil suit coming her way, i can see it already.

The victim's families suing her or the psychiatrist?

the girlfriend. psychiatrist prescribes drugs for individual, g/f tries to get him to stop taking one of them, he stops taking all of them and goes on a rampage. i'd be willing to bet lawyers are salivating all over this news.

If proven to be true, families of victims will surely sue her, she got something to pay for these.

  8. "The cancerous growth Israel will soon disappear," Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps commander Muhammad Ali Jafari wrote to Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, the FARS news agency reported Monday.

In a letter of condolence following last week's assassination of Hizbullah terror chief Imad Mughniyeh, Jafari said: "I am convinced that with every passing day Hizbullah's might is increasing and in the near future, we will witness the disappearance of this cancerous growth Israel by means of the Hizbullah fighters' radiation [therapy]."

hmmm i wonder what that means.......

I have no idea. What is this radiation they speak of, I have not heard of such a magical weapon.

maybe they are gonna send all their chemotherapy patients to israel as suicide bombers.......

That might be one of the desperate moves they may think, fighter's carrying radiation in their body?
