Potentially, but at this stage and with the wait being so long I value a notification very highly, but that's just me. Because from a RFE, you are looking at a couple weeks until approval.

EDIT: I see what y'all are saying now. :)

You make a good point though! The average K1 filer doesn't care about all this data mining and analyzing. They just want to have some hope that things are getting better and that they have a chance. That is just as valuable as a high-tech spreadsheet.

Do you think we should view it as 1,053+ cases processed or just the approvals? I'm trying to frame this in the best way possible for timelines. Because I wonder how much the RFEs weigh down the processing for future cases. I doubt it has the same weight as an untouched case.

It depends on what your "goal" is. Are you interested in the backlog being reduced? Then just look at approvals and denials, because those are the only decisions that remove a case from the backlog.

Processing speed and weekly capacity? K1 FTEs, if you will? Then I'd include RFEs, but even that is hard. We don't know how much time was spent on each RFE before a decision was made. USCIS claims they spend 40 minutes on a K1 application. Arguably, a case that gets an RFE doesn't need that much time before the officer realizes something is missing.

pls make the master post as you considered, will be nice to have a clean place to see em.
    Appreciate you

If its going to cause drama like the FB post then you can have the honors of being the poster instead! 🤣

No I don't mind. I'll start one tomorrow if I can get all the data. My FB group is doing a few months every day and I'll get the rest from the data miners here. Giving them full credit of course! Happy to see such an improvement at USCIS. Really, really hoping it continues! The 2022 filers might get lucky and see reduced times.

An admin said it was old data and only represented VJ members??? That USCIS processes way more than 966 a week??? Are they outta touch or am I? I thought scanners literally scan a range of numbers not specifically VJ cases???

I'm upset an admin was so wrong (unless I am)

The admin isnt wrong. He was trying to say that USCIS processes way more than 966 a week when you account for other visas. Work, family, asylum, etc. But, who cares? Thats not what we as K1/CR1 fliers care about. We want to know how many I-129Fs are being processed because thata what we filed. Work visa speeds have no effect on us. And yes, when us scanners do the data mining its all I-129Fs.

Sorry it got locked. Its very frustrating!

This is the week so far as I can pull from threads here. Sadly Sept, Nov and Dec aren't updating daily in threads but sitll decent numbers!
Didn't break up by RFEs etc as I'm just going by processing. Feel free to check individual threads or I assume Anna may keep us in the loop weekly. May update to incl RFEs if a source isn't easily accesible as trying to keep track of backlog and processing week by week

Yeah I can do it if people want. I've been doing weekly numbers for my FB group for a few months now. I usually do 3-5 months at a time, whatever USCIS is focusing on. The FB group is November filers so we are doing daily November scans. We will start daily December scans in about two weeks because ~20% of the group is December.

    Oh Oct is wrong I think? Tues: 26, 2 Wed: 94, 1, 30
So one of the days is missing?? You have same numbers for tues and wed

I messaged the October scanner and these numbers are what they DM'd me. Not sure honestly! I didn't run October myself. I don't mind deleting this if it'll be confusing for people.

But the idea is that the numbers for the week were great! And I'm happy about that!

how is this so much higher than the 800 odd people were quoting??? Was it maybe excluding RFEs or one of the months do you think???

I included RFEs and most people dont! I also added July and August. I wasn't going to, but there was a lot more movement there than I expected. Not sure if others have included those months. Theres definitely a chance I wasn't paying enough attention to numbers and accidentally included some twice. I'll double check when I can!

For those of you wondering about the weekly number of cases, here is what I have. I did NOT do October myself. I pulled that from the October thread here and it seems like there were two days missing, unless I'm just blind. I'm in a K1 FB group and the numbers here are a collaborative effort between us mods. Depending on what the October numbers were, it wasnt a bad week. But doesnt look like it was another 800+.

The October scanner is a wonderful human and sent me that data! So here we go.
