Fauci actually opted to do his job. His job was not to be president, that is a fallacious argument. Fauci's job was (and is) director of the national institute for allergy and infectious disease. He is there for his expertise in that area and he did what he was supposed to do. The issue is not really even about Fauci. A president will never know as much about a specific body of knowledge as an expert in the field. For some reason Trump thought he knew best, and he made poor decisions because of it. Much of the economic and human loss caused by the pandemic comes back to that one single fact.  

Couldn't this apply to any criticism of President Biden then? Should the reply to every time you criticize Biden be "if you thought you were the better person to sit in the big boy seat, you had an option of running for President. But instead you opted to do nothing but post commentary on an internet forum."

For a while it seemed like some people were very enthusiastic about the right of a cake baker to not bake gay cakes. Ya know, their shop, their rules or whatever... and there was this lengthy court thingy about it.. I could have sworn it all got settled.. Now it seems like a company has to be forced to host toilet cesspools when it just doesn't fit with their ideals because someone needs a safe space and can't be bothered to build their own.

I don't know that, but I know I've never been called racist for talking about immigration or immigration law, and I used to talk about it a lot.

Yes, they are pulling hosting effective tomorrow. Don't know and don't care about Gab. If they found a new host that would keep them or created their own network, more power to them. A host is under no obligation to keep something they don't want or won't abide by the rules.

Well yeah, that's what happens when you allow hate speech to propagate. It doesn't even take a lot for that type of thing to take over, but maybe if Parler had done a better job of keeping that out, they wouldn't have run afoul of everyone else's terms of service agreements. I'm not sure they were ever willing to do that.
 
   So we once again learn the lesson, free speech doesn't absolve you from the consequences of free speech.

Oh they got plenty of options. Afterall the internet is a place of opportunity. I'd say perhaps they should pull themselves up by their bootstraps, armbands, Auschwitz sweatshirts.. ya know whatever is in the latest nazi fashion and make some sort of "safe space" where they can have their own TOS.

You don’t have free speech here either. You agree to terms of service and the owner/administrator can suspend your account at any time or for any reason they so chose. You have no First Amendment rights on most  internet platforms suck as VJ, Facebook, Twitter, etc. They can censor as they please. 

Permanently banning someone for inciting violence on the platform is not fascism.

Again, those using a service must abide by the TOS of a service and may have their account terminated at any time. Don't like it? Don't use the service.

Just another point: a lot of the state laws that mandated counting mail in/early voting votes later than in person votes on Election Day were passed by Republican state legislators. It's almost like they knew this could happen. 

The President did an amazing job of convincing Republicans that mailing in your ballots wasn't safe, despite all evidence to the contrary.
Many (most?) Republicans voted in person on election day, as the President urged them to do.
Many (most?) Biden voters voted absentee or early voting.
Many states, including Georgia, count mail-in ballots last.
It created the illusion that Trump was winning early (counting in-person ballots first, mostly cast by Republicans) but when mail-in ballots were counted, it overcame that illusion.
 
This was exactly what experts were predicting would happen weeks before the election.
 
There was never a "wave" or a lopsided count. The count was always what it was. It's just how states counted day-of ballots first, then other ballots.
 
If Dems were going to steal the election, and actually had the ability to do so, there's no way they'd have left the Senate contested and lose House seats. A Republican led election commission has said there is no evidence of widespread election fraud. The Trump-appointed Attorney General has concluded there was no widespread voter fraud. Multiple Federal courts, including courts with Trump appointed judges, have thrown out almost every Trump legal team's suit. The Supreme Court has rejected the Texas attempt to invalidate Biden electors. There is no evidence that Biden ballots magically appeared.

I think she is pretty attractive. I have always had a thing for strong attractive women, who know there own minds. I have never quite understood the attraction for women who aren't particularly educated, and who are dependent upon a man for everything. To each our own I suppose.

Why pay attention when one can just blame the "lefties".

Glioblastoma is a terminal illness. Knowing this was coming, I think Trumps conduct towards McCain over the last year has been appalling. I don't agree personally with a lot of things John McCain said, but the man was dying. Just show a little respect. For the service he has given to his country, he has earned that much. If one could think of nothing good to say about him, just say nothing. 
 
  Trumps conduct towards McCain while he was still alive bothers me more than anything that happens now after McCain's passing. Statesmanship was not something Trump was ever capable of bringing to the table. I don't expect that of him now, and it would be difficult for him to pull off anyway, given his attitude towards McCain. Those bridges were burned a long time ago. 
   

McCain didn't even want Mango Mussolini at his funeral. It's Mussolini who burnt those bridges by openly denigrating him.
