@sunshine muss das medical nicht vor dem interview gemacht werden auch wenn beides am selben tag ist? auf meinem interview letter war ein termin fuers interview um 930 und auch noch ein termin beim doc fuer 730 gestanden. ich bin da aber drum rum und hab das medical fast 2 wochen vorm interview gemacht!

hab in deiner timeline geslesen das ihr am 19.09. heiraten wollt. da kannst du dann aber nicht schon im februar einreisen, da das I-94 ja nur fuer 90 tage nach einreise gueltig ist und du in dieser zeit auf jeden fall heiraten musst sonst bist du out of status!

Also auf meinem interview letter steht Appointment fürs interview 08.15 und medical steht 00.00 uhr dran, es wird aber erklärt das im fall 00.00 uhr dran steht, es bedeutet das ich nach dem interview zum doc geschickt werde.

Und das mit der Heirat: wir werden vor dem 19.09 schon standesamtlich heiraten und am 19 sept. ist dann grosse Hochzeit mit unseren familien etc.

Aber danke trotzdem für den hinweis...

Und meinen Flug hab ich jetzt auf den 22.02 hinausgeschoben...Ich denke (hoffe) das reicht dann zeitlich..

Falls ich es nich rechtzeitig zum doc schaffe ( was ich wirklich nich hoffe, weil frankfurt kein katzensprung ist :-)) muss ich halt dann einen Tag dran hängen und dann am nächsten morgen gehen.

Ich wollt es eigentlich erst heute schon in münchen machen (hatte schon einen termin) aber dann dachte ich, spar ich mir doch lieber noch die anfahrtskosten dahin und mach alles am selben tag in ffm...Naja, ich denk jetzt einfach mal positiv, das ich alles an einem tag erledigen kann.. :-)

hoffe ich das ihr mir vielleicht etwas helfen könnt..

Ich hab mein K1 interview am 4 feb und das medical mach ich dann auch dort am gleichen Tag.

Ab wann kann ich den mit meinem Visum rechnen?

sprich wie lang dauert das bis die testergebnisse vom medical zum konsulat weitergeleitet werden und die mir dann das Visum schicken?

Würd nämlich gern jetzt schon meinen Flug buchen, das ich nich irgend nen riesen Betrag zahlen muss (sind ja jetzt schon teilweise richtig teuer)...

Und ich denke da an den 16 feb..Denkt ihr bis dahin hab ichs?

Wielang hat das denn bei euch gebraucht?

Hallo an alle...

Ich habe letzte Woche das Packet 3 für mein K1 von Frankfurt bekommen, und habe es auch gleich am nächsten Tag zurückgeschickt...

Nun hab ich auf der website vom Frankfurter Konsulat grad gelesen, das man DS-156 und DS-156 K nicht unterschreiben soll.

Das hab ich beim DS-156 K auch nich getan, aber das DS-156 hab ich unterschrieben,weil da nichts dort stand das man das nicht darf..

Ist das schlimm?

Und noch was: ich hab nur die Form DS-230 part 1 bekommen, wann füllt man denn den zweiten Teil aus?

Wäre sehr dankbar wenn einer von euch mir weiterhelfen könnte :-)

Our petition was received at the NVC at January 2nd...And they said it will be sent to the embassy either today or monday the latest

I was already prepared to wait a month or so ( from what i´m reading) , so I´m happy that it was sent that fast!!!

1. Will I have to stay in the UK the the whole time this is being processed? I have had this trip planned for a long time and even have a buddy/business partner from the US coming over to join me so he might be a little non-plussed if I cancel. Not to mention, the knowledge gained will set me up for the future.

You still can make your trip, however u have to be back in the UK for ur Interview..

2. Is 8 months the average amount of time it takes for the K-1 to be processed?

Look at the Immigration Timelines on this site, there u will see...

3. Is it okay to have a "proper" wedding when I come to the states? I see alot of people have had civil weddings and then had a "proper" ceremony later. Is this due to the legality of the situation or just because its easier to have a quick ceremony on arrival and then plan a larger one later?

Of course it`s easier for some people, that they do their civil weddings first..That they can start preparing for their AOS..But it doesn´t matter which one first, as long as u get married 90 days after ur arrival...

4. How much, roughly, does the process cost? As I will not receive my visa for the presumed 8 months, if I do go away to Europe, I will return in may and will have a period of 3 months before I can come out in which it may be difficult to find some temporary work. Ideally I would like to come straight out in May and look to work straight away but I understand this is impossible. I just need to budget as I obviously want to take a good amount of money out with me.

Since July 07 the fee for the petition increased to 455 $ thats the biggest part of all the costs..Then there is only the costs of the visa fee at the embassy, but i dont know right now how much it is (not more than a hundred i think),then the police certificate ....

5. My fiance is in Med School and does not have a full time job, will this hinder my chances of obtaining a K-1 as she technically cannot support me?

If you find somebody as a CO- sponsor u won´t have any problems

We got the NOA2 on the 12/12/07 and it was sent to NVC on the12/21/07 and received only a few days later on the 01/02/08

We got it :dance: ! Dan just called me that he received our Noa2, a nice envelope from USCIS, dated 12/12/2007 which is the date of our first TOUCH. Still no change in our account but we got the hard copy. Good luck for those who are still waiting!

Our first touch was 12/12 then another two touches and today my fiance got the NOA2 in the mail, dated 12/12/07

but website still says case is pending....

i just called uscis and got a lady on the phone who told me that i was approved but cause i´m not the petitioner she couldn´t give me any further information..she told me that i´ll have my fiance to call them to get more infos...

so he called and got on the phone with somebody else than i was and he or she told him that it is still pending / transferred... ( my case still says it´s pending on the website too)

So now i don´t know ??? one person says different things than the other person...

as most of you know i got two touches during the last two days, but still no approval..

Today the date is still on 12/13 and i start to get worried..Other people had their approval right after their first touch ?!

Does this maybe mean i´ll get an RFE ?????

And can i call them to find out or should i just wait some more?

I really don´t have a lot of patience anymore, especially after these to touches

Well i got my first touch yesterday and a few minutes ago i got one again, but it´s not the approval yet cause status is still pending...I hope so much that it will change today

just got a touch again...Ooh this is so nerve racking...i´m so excited!

UUUUUUUUUuuuhhhh i just was on the uscis site and saw that my date changed from 08/02 to 12/12

I hope that it will be the approval and we don´t get an rfe.........

I´m just so happy that it starts movin now after the loong time of waiting!!!

I`m new here and i already have my first question..my USC Fiance and i sent the I-129F off in the end of July this year.

We received are NOA 1 in August, and since then case status hasn´t changed,what is normal because of the current processing times, i know..

Now my question is, since he finally found a house where we gonna live in, actually everything what we planned is done...Now we are just waiting for this whole process to be over as fast as possible.

So yesterday when we talked on the phone, we had the idea of maybe getting married spontanious. The idea was that i will visit him (i have a b2 visa) for a week or two and then we just decide "spontanious" that we don´t want to wait anymore and get married during this time.Would that work?or would we get problems? or should we just wait until i get the visa??

I already have been there for 180 days this year, so the full six months,which are allowed. So another question would be, if they let me in when i go there, let`s say maybe january??Cause i`m only allowed six months each year..
