Well, my fiance's visa is now with the courier which means the embassy has released it.. probably will arrive with her in a couple of days.
I already have tickets booked to go to Philippines on the 28th and fly back with her July 4. very exciting
-
is a student id or photocopy of NBI sufficient ID for Delbros when the deliver the visa to my fiance? they have her passport, obviously, and her original NBI is with the embassy
-
Congrats! My baby had her interview today as well and approved.
-
Does anyone know how likely it is for this request to be granted? Particularly in Manila, Philippines embassy?
-
If my fiance had the hep b vaccination before but cannot find the record, does anyone know if it's harmful for her to take it again at the medical?
-
My fiancee's visa appointment is set now for June 13!
-
Once I know that it is at the embassy (via DHL tracking or whatever), can I call the embassy to get their case #, etc. or is it necessary to wait until my fiance receives a letter from them?
-
NOA2 was on April 25.. NVC just confirmed on the phone the received the case from CSC today, May 5th.
-
Congrats EnS! A very good day
-
We just got our NOA2 today! Hooray! Earlier this week I had my congressional representative inquire with USCIS.. that may've helped.. hard to say, since it was long due anyway. Very happy.
-
Does anyone know if it's possible to walk in to the service center and speak to someone?
-
No NOA2 today, but another touch though
-
Got touched today.. maybe this is it..
-
I called and got through to CSC on the 26th and the guy said my case had been assigned to an officer recently, but that's all he could tell me. Anyone know if that means anything? I got touched the 26th and 27th following the call.. I wonder if some officers are slower than others.. hehe
-
Just from watching the trends and the way things are moving currently, there's a significant chance that we could see CSC start hammering out October approvals in numbers as soon as next week..
-
I call shenanigans. I hope nobody will take this post seriously.
I called the National Service Center and spoke with someone there and had them research this and they indicated there is no such situation going on with CSC as far as they can tell.
-
Just curious, how many touches do you guys get following the week after you received NOA1? Ours were received on the 17th and hardcopy arrived on the 22nd, since then, we've been touched twice.
Since holiday season is coming, i wish USCIS still work during those days for the sake we paid for the more expensive price - however, we are receiving a slower service instead!
What does it look like on the web site when it has been touched?
-
I just received notification that my NOA1 was mailed on the 12th at CSC.
-
how do you get your acknowledgement of receipt? by email?

I don't understand why in the world VSC is SO fast and CSC is EXTREMLY slow!!!!!! It's driving me up the walls..........why that difference??
It's not like ppl that have filed under CSC have more time, patience or what ever.We want to be reunited with our loved ones too!
Yeah this is more or less a rant but Gee come on now.
There's so many October Filers under VSC that have gotten their checks cashed and their NoA 1's issued while we don't hear a thing.Gee not even the ones that filed on the 1st under CSC have heared anything so far. Some ppl have filed 6 weeks ago under CSC and STILL no cashed check or NoA1!
Why did they get VSC 200 new staff members and CSC ain't getting NONE?!
NOT FAIR! Not to their staff in Laguna Niguel and definitley NOT to the custmoers!
Sorry had to say that!
Nat
Are you stoned or something?? do a timeline search and compare VSC to CSC. Since the 1st of October there have been 28 approvals from California and only 6 from Vermont. A little math will show you why Vermont needs these 200 extra workers. I wouldn't be so mad if I were you. You've got a long way to go still and it could be worse, ....you could be waiting for Vermont. stay calm. And expect to wait at least 4-5 months for an approval. Good luck!
When people say such-and-such a timeframe for an approval, do they mean the actual approval of the visa, or the approval to send it on to the consulate?
-
The line in our timelines which states "...your I129f may be adjudicated as early as...", does this date estimate when we might receive the visa, or when it might be passed on to the embassy, or what? Thanks
-
It looks like some people are getting their receipt acknowledgements and NOA1s faster than others, even from the same service center. Anyone know why that is?

We just sent our package yesterday, October 10th
