  1. I'm convinced some one did this on purpose now. Looking through my file I can tell someone studied my file closely. For instance they wrote on the back of my photos and on some of my evidence as well as my forms. If they had seen the file in its entirety they knew there was no I130 present. Not to mention the word fiance is on practically everything. They were about to process it in CSC as they had stamped my check. Thats another oddity. My check was for $455. If it was an AOS the fee would have been greater, if it had been a K3 the fee would be less. There is no way that they could have missed all of this.

I think they saw that it was a replacement application for a previous application and instead of doing what they should have they knowingly screwed me over. I bet they were laughing about it for hours.

I wonder if I can convince the people who matter.................

I don't think they would do it on purpose. The USCIS wasn't expecting so many petitions sent to them, so they needed to train new people very quickly to get rid of the backlog (that's what they said on their website- and that they apologize for delays and thank for cooperation). I'm just thinking...maybe someone very new to this, was reviewing your case and because of lack of experience they SCREWED UP!

I think you should fight back! And whoever is responsible for what they did to you should be punished.

This is no joke. This petition takes long freakin' enough! JEEEEZ!I feel so bad for you! :crying:

  2. Hi...

My petition was approved Jan 14th. I received packet 3 and sent it back last week. It should be in Dublin, and I am expecting to receve packet 4 with the interview date. I went on the USCIS website today and saw an update on my case dated Feb 10th. Is it normal?

I thought that since the case leaves NVC to consulate the USCIS doesnt show updates anymore.

Has anyone gotten the updates after sending back packet 3?

I don't know if this is good news or bad( the consulate sent the case back to revoke?)

    Please please help me!

  4. Anybody who can reply...your answers are more than welcome. However the matter of my question regards specialy canadians.

    - 1- can we get the shots at same time of medical exam and is it included in the 220$ cost?

    - 2- can we chose the doctor we wanna consult from those who are approved by US government ?

    - 3- is it better to wait on packet 3 to take medical appointment or is it ok to do it before?

    - 4- Does my vaccination booklet must be translate and notorized ( as I'm french canadian. I'll try to get a copy in both language but not sure if they will do one in english )

Hi there! I just had my medical yesterday. I could chose my doctor from the list the consulate has sent me in packet 3. I went to the one that was the closest to the place where I live. I had a certified translation-no need to notarize if its certified! of my vaccinations record (the original was in my native laguage- polish). The doctor said I need to get one vaccine- MMR. But it was included in the price.

I don't know if you can take the medical before you receive packet 3. It depends on how they process the case in Canada. I know that in some countries you take the MEDICAL on the day of the interview and right after the medical you are told to immidiately go for the interview with the consular officer.

So you should find out if they rquire you to take the medical on the day of the interview or prior to it.

    Good luck!

PS My arm is swollen from the vaccine- but we do it all for love! :-)

  5. I believe that you have passed your interview. The reason they are looking more into that is just that they are being extra careful right now, because of September 11th. It's affecting you, it's affecting us all.

I also believe that they understand that this process takes long enough for us and they will do your name check very quickly. It doesn't take that long for FBI to do a background check on a civil person.

    Do not worry!

Our thoughts are with you! I soooo believe it will not take long. I give it a week.
