Received my GC today. So happy. Booking tickets to travel asap lol. In totaly it took 4-5 working days from date of approval to card in hand. We had a unwanted weekend in the middle, between approval date and GC being dispatched lol The moral of the story is, it is really very fast for GC to arrive once/if the Interview is done and they told you that it is approved. So, those who already received their GC. Is this normal for the case to be marked as CLOSED, after the status changes to Card Produced? Normaly, i.e. with EAD, the status also went to Card Dispatched. Anyone?

I could not wait for the letter to know the date, and I went ahead and talked to EMMA on chat, and she told me the date over chat.

For me, and I am sure to everyone, this is the only letter that does not come as PDF in your USCIS account. The interview letter only comes as in post physically. To me, it took normal 2-3 working days for the interview invitation letter to be delivered to our address.

First of all, sorry hear that. Second do not worry they will now straight approve you EAD and send you Interview call. Unfortunately, once/if RFE is issues, it automatically delays the whole process by atleast 30-40 days. I received RFE, and I responded to my RFE within 30 minutes (Online) and posted physical deliveray within 12 hours, still they did not change the status online about them received evidence till 30 days. Ours was super fast (getting in to interview) might be because our is Phoenix AZ, and very less busy in here. The interview itself took 30 minutese MAX. even those 30 minutes, the interviewer was just busy in completing the formalities and paperwork for the approval. I.e. Oath, very few fomal questions. Did not check all our documents. The whole process was 40 miniutes from entering into building and being outside with happy faces.

Why affidavit of support? Didnt you submit that in your initial pack? All looks good. Just add house lease documents.

That is good speed. Love it I will definately be updating you guys about how long it takes for my GC. There is a weekend in between though. Approval letter PDF file is already in my USCIS account now. Approval date 12 May countdown started...

Just finished our interview 60 minutes ago The interviewer did not check or ask for any document whatsoever. I actually voluntarily showed him some photos. Entered the interview room: 1. Asked for my passport (he actually said I only want your passport and not your wife's, as I have everything with me already) AND our sealed medical envelope. I handed him both. 2. Asked a couple of questions from Mrs. (USD). What is your husband's DOB, what car do you drive, etc? In total 5-6 questions only, very common questions. Nothing about relationships at all. 3. Read to us formality questions i.e. national security-related 4. Boom (Your petition is fully approved) expect GC in 2-4 weeks. It is 10 year GC (he said) 5. Handed us the interview result letter, which had the tick/checkmark on the approval I think it all depends on case to case. i.e. if your case is on a marriage base, and your marriage is less than 2 years, they might ask a few extra questions and see some more documents. My experience, after receiving this norification of action, it always updated next day on the USCIS website account.

Did they check your phones i.e. whatsapp, sms, emails etc?
