    I did but it was my congresswoman in Seattle, WA. I think the success also has to do with how active your state is on immigration (my personal opinion). For my case specifically, getting out congresswoman involved brought specific responses from the consulate that brought out status to issues after a 5.5 month wait.

    We did this right before we got approved as a back up plan. But I applied for CAN PR.
