Incorrect.  Those NVC messages in the FAQ refer to review messages for documents submitted for immigrant visa cases via CEAC portal.  Note that the CEAC FAQ makes it clear that invoice ID is for immigrant visa cases -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing/ceac-faqs.html#ceac1

K1 is technically a non-immigrant visa, although it is processed by the IV unit.  K1 cases do not need to submit documents via CEAC.  Hence, nothing for NVC to review, no review messages to be sent, no need to log in, and no need for invoice ID.

You are correct. But just for clarification for others.

ID number exists, we contacted our Congresswoman, and asked for help. We got our NVC number.

But when you try to log in to the system, you get message that you need to fill DS160 and not DS260.

To fill DS160 you only need NVC case number and not ID.

  2. We got feedback from our Congressional representative. We recived NOA 2 on 28th

The National Visa Center (NVC) received this immigrant visa petition on September 8, 2022. Currently we are working on cases received from USCIS on September 2, 2022.  Once this case has been entered into our system the NVC will contact all case parties with further processing instructions.

    Hi

How did you contact you Congressional Representative? Did you do it per Email, or some other way?

And did you ask them to help you with USCIS or NVC?

    Thank you in advance

Actually Trump didn't slow down anything.

If you check historical times, during entire Trump presidency, times were very stable (even during highs of COVID).

Total collapse of USCIS started in 2021, when Trump was out of office.

To add not defending Trump or anything, but president doesn't have anything to do with situation in USCIS. So nither current or old president has anything to do with oversight of USCIS. But congress

Yes, as much as Trump had the power to slow down processes, the Committee on Homeland Security oversees the activities of the USCIS and can propose legislation to literally force USCIS to meet targets, like they do for emoployment based visas. So yes, it’s part of the job, specifically it is Rep. Bennie Thompson’s job.

    Awesome man.

    Congratulations. Really happy for you.

If it's not too much to ask, can you pass by atleast once a month to drop those beautiful monthly graphs you show.

Atleast until the interview process is complete for you.

I know you won't be in these forums forever 😁

As you know, I'm a September 2021 filer.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi I will try to post it if I manage to get it updated, it seem that USCIC has made change to its website (change is not visible to the user, but on technical side), making current method of download not possible.

I hope it is only temporary, and that it will continue to work.

I even saw a February case approved today 😂

That is good news. But sadly there are plenty of cases that get denied after months of waiting. Last week there was one case from September 2020 that got denied. No RFE nothing, just got swiched from NOA1 to Case denied. That must be heartbreaking for those people. 22 Months of waiting pure horror.

Don't forget march and April there might be more there

Sadly not, there is significant drop in processing this month, around 25% less than last month across all ranges. Last two weeks have be abysmal, and are 2 slowest weeks in last 3 Months.

    Probably people on holidays.

But on bright side, there are new cases that just got approved/processed after working hours. so there is more than in earlier scans
