  1. There are ways to get a real person when chatting with Emma. Use keywords such as "expedite request" or "live agent".
  2. Just got off chat with Emma, the agent mentioned that response to RFE within 60-days of the due date will still be considered by USCIS. Is this correct? Is this a written policy somewhere? Context: Won't be able to response to I-693 medical RFE by the due date because person is out of the country, traveling with advance parole.
  3. For Option 1, your company will need a lawyer. For Option 2, you can do it yourself, it's pretty straight forward.
  4. Thanks for the explanation. That's a big relief, as I thought I may have committed some crime that I'm not aware of. This is also a good sign, since CBP has received news about my AoS that means my case is progressing. I was admitted as TN. So what would be my "official" status at the moment? I have received my EAD/AP card.
  5. I just had my Nexus card revoked with minimal explanation. The only eligibility problem I can find is that during AOS process, a person is "inadmissible" into US, and can only be "paroled" into US. Has anyone else had this problem before?
  6. 1. Get your company to sponsor you through PERM - I140 - I485. 2. Get married and adjust status using I-130. Family based adjustment is usually (a lot) faster.
  7. Hello all, How rigid is USCIS with the 180 days requirement for filing I-485J with new employer? Also, does anyone know how USCIS determine the new job is a "natural progression", e.g. someone getting promoted into managerial position in the same field? I've read all the source material from USCIS and court rulings, but would like to know a few real world examples.
