No where does it state the children have to live with the US parent for 3 years to gain Citizenship. If they are admitted into the US before the turn 18 as LPR's then as there parent is a US citisen that parent can apply for a US passprt for the Child. So if they come as LPR under the Citizen parent Live with that parent , then the parent can aplly for the N-600 if they want this paper. If not they send in the requiremnts to get the child a US passport.

No, but why are you worry about the ten card lifetime limit? I have the same card that was issued to me 40 years ago. I can see a person maybe losing their card once or twice, but not nine times.

It is restricted in that it can't be used as a work authorization document as an unrestricted card can. Plus if you have the type card that has "NOT VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT" printed on it an SSA receives a report of wages earned on that number SSA is to notify DHS, so I would say that is a restriction.

Also the children from colombia when they leave with only one or no parent need a DAS thingy to be able to board the airplane in Colomia to anywhere. Interesting that people have jumped on my use of "insufferable" (an epithet easily stuck to my own back). I suppose I feel that one's subjective feelings about who is and who is not a tosspot on VJ won't coincide in a statistically significant way with those of other users; generating a critical mass of -1's for no good reason except insufferability is probably unlikely. Some of the people I can't stand are amongst the most feted by others. The majority of VJ users don't give a toss one way or another about who's in or out of favour with the few of us who "care" about such things, and won't vote using standards such as relative insufferability.
