17th had been suggested as it’s the two weeks mark before July, which seems reasonable. Some of us have already resigned to the ‘fact’ it’s not going to happen
Let's try to be positive! Sending good vibes to all!!!

When is your DQ?
My husband is having multiple surgeries this summer so we’re asking for an expedite and it’s been at the consulate since May 25. We are hoping for an interview as he is back to the states for more at mayo in July.

Getting a response from the Montreal consulate that someone from the visa unit will contact is a positive on a Friday. They even said thanks for your patience which I have never read, when receiving an email from them!

What's interesting is that for IR/CR they mentioned DQ dates from July-August are being interviewed this month.
I think this means they might be interviewing some of the rescheduled appointments for applicants previously unable to make it to their interviews (which tbh is the consulate's own doing because they provide such little notice).
But yeah, I have no idea whether that means we can expect more ILs for July. Honestly I've personally given up now, I'm banking on the border reopening sooner at this point...
Agreed, it’s last minute when they give interviews and getting everything together can be tough!

They requested my passport (the website said photo ID, but I brought my passport anyway), my interview appointment letter from the NVC (e-mail from NVC) and my vaccination record. I gave them my vaccination records, but in the end, they only wanted this one (from Dr. Mascarenhas' website, which I had signed by my family physician last month) and didn't even look at my provincial records. They didn't care whether I had one or two MMR shots, they just took a photocopy of my most recent vaccination shots based on Dr. Mascarenhas' form. They did not request for any passport photos. It was explained to me that the Montreal consulate is moving towards a digital platform and uses a platform called "e-medical" and so they took a picture of me in the office and uploaded it onto their server. (Note: on their website, it says that this is only for people who are applying for CR1/IR1 visas. You may need to bring your passport photos if you are applying for other visas (ie K1 visa, etc)). Following this, I paid in cash (they accepted debit as well) and sat back down to wait for my appointment. Screening the room, there were two other patients before me waiting for their visa medicals.
Hello ADW & JOP, Just want to confirm that there is no need for the 5 passport photos?? I am getting a cr1 visa.

it has been, yes: in the previous discussion thread.
Thank you and I checked the previous thread as well as checking health first medical site and they will take a verbal on chicken pox.

You have to do a blood test for the titers, and if you have immunity, you don't need a vaccine. this is the same for MMR, Varicella.
I have my medical record for the mmr and tdap. It’s just the chicken pox I had it when I was younger but no record; I want to make sure no stone is unturned! Thank you

I will be needing a medical soon and am wondering what folks have done about the chicken pox vaccine? I have had chicken pox but will they take a verbal on It? If this has answered elsewhere please tell me where!
