ezzie reacted to bck86 in Questions! Withdrawing K-1, getting Zoom married, then applying for CR-1
I haven't written it yet, I've been combing through the forums to try and get an idea. I think what I gathered is to say that I am writing to withdraw my I-129F. And then I'll make sure to include my full name, address, and the receipt number from my NOA1. I'm not sure what else needs to go in there. I also gathered that I'll be able to just submit it with my I-130 filing rather than needing to send it separately. Hopefully someone with experience can confirm this for us.

Your son is not eligible. The two year meeting requirement is an absolute. If Covid could be used as a legitimate excuse, thousands would do so.
He will need to meet up and refuel, or marry and file for a spousal visa, which is a better visa anyway.

@ezzie if their relationship is so long, they should just marry and go via spousal visa route

they will have to file I-130 with uscis - it can be filed online as well

Okay. I've just seen you've already answered my previous question. Please post stuff that can be verified, and not draw sweeping conclusions just because you've seen or witnessed it.
thanks.

Congrats to all with CC's- Sarah, Foreverandever, and babaa!! End of this journey is near!
Hope we all have our CC's soon. Wouldn't it be nice when the time comes that we are already posting that our families are here?
Regards on your schedule for interview, Saylin. By the way, It would be nice if you make "SAYLIN'S BREEZE TO NVC"- you have familiarized yourself very well with the immigration process!

WE WISH!!! But as it is, just give us our NOA2 NOW, and then we can sleep for a little while, and hopefully have a better experience with NVC..Wishful thinking..But hey, that's all we can do, rather than really eventually go nuttttsss!!
Let's support each other through this..hopefully we can all come out of this still physically capable of hurdling NVC.

Yup. My friend just filed for her parents last November, and is already teasing me that with the way things are going, she might have hers earlier than mine. I said she should be glad she's my friend, or else I could have given her an uppercut. It would be nice playing on a level-field though, not like what they did to us.
