A&C2020 reacted to Chancy in K1 visa - I-485 (medical)
If you mean the visa medical you completed abroad, then it is valid indefinitely, IF your vaccination worksheet is marked complete AND you filed your I-485 within 1 year of the medical date.

Do you mean 1st October 2021?

In any case, the medical is valid provided you filed the I-485 within one year of taking the medical.

Medical today took roughly 90 minutes and cost £350. At the fron desk they ask for police report, passport, letter confirming your case number from London, vaccination record, general GP record ( did not ask for previous minor problems or medicine list) and 4 passport pictures. They give you a clipboard with a questionnaire on (yes/no tick boxes), if you have any mental health issues no matter how small then I recommend getting a letter from the doctors to take with you. In the 1st room the doctor goes over the questionnaire, takes your weight, height, eye test, listens to your breathing, checked both arms, felt my stomach, took bloods and checked knees. 2nd room the chest xray is done, 3rd room any vaccinations are done. In-between you wait in the waiting room, after all 3 rooms have been completed they then call you back to reception, give you a form with vaccinations on to take home to use for adjustment of states in the states and you pay. Should take roughly 5 working days to send to embassy and the medical will contact you in anything is wrong.

As an update I've also been told the courier is expected on the 18th October - 6 days after the Interview. Maybe that helps others.

Yes. You could leave it months if you wanted to.
You may not find anything available the first time you look. Appointments are a bit scare right now. Keep logging back in until you find one. Grab whatever you can, even if it doesn’t leave much time between the medical and interview. They will still interview you, but you will then have to wait on somebody to get back to your case in their “to do” pile once your medical results arrive.

A&C2020 reacted to Angela & Brendon in K-1 Visa medical Exam - London
I had the medical on an earlier date from my interview, so mine may be a little different. But my interview was like this:

Arrived at the Embassy, entered and went through a security check. Was then given a ticket number and asked to go to a first officer once my number was called, who checked I had all the necessary paperwork (forms, medical, financial support documents). I was then told to sit down, and was called up to speak to a second officer who asked the following:

    How we met?
    What I did for work?
What my fiancé did for work?
Had my fiancé travelled to the UK to see me at all?
    What our wedding plans were?

After answering all of these, the officer told me everything looked good and I would be issued the visa. I gave them my passport, which I received with the visa 9 days after my interview.

    Hope this helps!

Ok, so it looks like they're finally starting to process more October cases a day than September, so I figured I'd start updating these twice a week instead. I know it may not feel like it, but progress is being made!
