Only thing I can recommend (and I know it's hard) is to not keep checking your account - "a watched pot never boils" is very apt in this situation.  It wasn't until I relaxed and just accepted that this would take forever that I actually got my card charged and my receipt number.  Not that there's any correlation, but you're just gonna drive yourself into a ball of anxiety like me if you check so frequently

That gives you the current timeline, but it seems like they're speeding up.

I got my case number via text last night, 4 days after payment was processed.  It says November 12th is the day of receipt, despite it not being processed until Feb 4.  That's a good sign, I think!

It is not appropriate to call another group  of human being illegal merely because they don’t posses a documented status. This type of rhetorics were used to put Japanese Americans into concentration camps. 
 
I do understand it is frustrating and can be very challenging at times contacting/dealing with USCIS. I do encourage you to contact your local senators or congress members for support. They will be able to help you and get you an answer. 

Pretty vile to see people using the term "illegals" for fellow human beings.
 
Also, these issues need not be in contradiction. Undocumented people in this country can be given a path to a legal status, and also the various other visa and immigration processes can be sped up. It's not zero-sum.

From what I have read, that is normal. I have even read of people who never get the text email and only get it in the mail.
 
In any case congrats to everyone getting their notifications!!! Seems like things are speeding up.

I created it.  I did a query of the most recent WAC numbers and created a spreadsheet to track the progress.

Yay!! Congrats!! About time. Waiting on our receipt nov 24th.  First positive news I’ve heard in a few weeks! 

That's the only thing that makes sense to me, an "outside in" approach.  As long as the actual date is marked correctly, I don't REALLY mind, it's just the uncertainty that really sucks for all of us.  If our packets get rejected for some reason, it'll have been 3 months completely wasted.

What's even worse is that some of us are going to be dealing with embassies that aren't even processing K-1 visas when we eventually DO get to that point

I'll also share this here as my package was received by the lockbox facility at the start of November and I'm still without charge or any receipt. So same situation as most everyone (if not all) in this thread. 
 
Contacted USCIS today, the representative said current wait time for receipts they are seeing is about 2 months due to a large influx of applications sent to the lockboxes, with some outliers reaching out to 3 months. I was assured that this is a normal timeframe currently due to the number of applications they have coming in. Though he/she did note that they are not the lockbox facility so they don't have access to more specific details they were able to confirm my package had not been input to the system yet. If I havn't heard anything by the end of the month to follow back up with USCIS support as well, they opened a ticket under my name and date of birth and additionally placed a notification that I had called inquiring about my application status. 
 
 

Hey, a little concerned here. We sent our package Nov 5th and received 7 days later but since then we have not received any kind of information on our case. I read it's taking longer with all the COVID and stuff but it's gonna be 2 months soon.
