NeonParticles got a reaction from Chancy in June 2022 I-130 filers
Approval notice is in my inbox on the USCIS site. Approved June 8th. Step one down!
Apparently this got sent to the California Service Center from Vermont via Nebraska... They're shifting things around a lot it seems.

Do not look at this tab. I feel like we need an automated message for this forum The tab is inaccurate and only serves to add anguish and anxiety to applicants.

Just ignore that tab completely for your own sanity. There's no number on there that will be accurate to your case.

NeonParticles got a reaction from MrMrsD in MAY 2022 I-130 FILERS ❤️
Good to see a similar timeline to myself being handled in a little under a year. Also Nebraska -> Vermont -> ??? Seems like a bunch of cases around May/June/July got moved from Nebraska to Vermont and have been getting sent out / approved from there.

NeonParticles got a reaction from Christian And Van in August 2022 - I130 filers
No, the updated number is much more realistic. The previous number was very unrealistic and didn't seem to be based on anything. Set your expectations for August at earliest so that you're not disappointed, trust me.

No K3;
Our NOA1 came from Texas Service Center, somewhere in time and space our case was transferred to Potomac and our approval notice came from the National Benefits Center.
Also worth noticing we only had one active review right after we submitted the petition last year, yesterday it changed to approved and our approval notice was in the documents tab;

NeonParticles got a reaction from seekingthetruth in Lander's Superstore Angeles City
One thing I've noticed about Landers is that they seriously rush their openings. When the new one in BGC opened up, the place was half finished and there was construction everywhere. Not surprised.

Yep, the site is bugged out currently. A lot of people have the same.

NeonParticles got a reaction from Micam in Processing time change?
Yeah, I still wouldn't use it as a guideline for anything, but the numbers I'm seeing (12-14 months for I-130) are way closer to the average timeline than the previous estimate. Will continue to be a pain point for people, I fear.

Please do yourself a favor and ignore this number. While it may be more accurate now, it has just served as a source of frustration for everyone that anxiously watches it tick down.

The new number is a lot more accurate. I think they might have fixed the estimate. The old number was extremely unlikely, which is why a lot of people recommended ignoring it. As usual I'd recommend to just ignore that tab entirely and try my best not to "watch the pot boil" so to speak.
Fingers crossed that things speed up, though!

NeonParticles got a reaction from Holly&Andreas in APRIL 2022 FILERS (I-130)
I just decided to ignore that tab completely as it seems it hasn't been accurate for anybody. You should be getting relatively close though, looking at March & February filers.

Reminder that in the Philippines this can depend entirely on which agent you're dealing with and what day it is

NeonParticles reacted to Swafford25 in Utah Online Marriage, SF Consulate Rejected RoM.
First I called the consulate and they gave me the transmittal details and date that they sent the ROM to DFA. I took those details and emailed the Office of Consular Affairs at this email address oca.crd@dfa.gov.ph. They replied within two days with the details and date they sent the ROM to PSA. So we asked our niece to go to the main PSA office in Quezon City to request the copy and provided them the details from the Office of Consular Affairs. We were told to call or email within seven days to retrieve our documents. I sent emails to crs.qvu3@psa.gov.ph, crs.qvu2@psa.gov.ph and crs.qvu1@psa.gov.ph. They emailed within two days telling us we could pick up our PSA Marriage Certificate from the Quezon City Office.
Timeline:
August 26th, 2022 - San Francisco Consulate Registers ROM
September 9, 2022 - Consulate transmits the document to DFA
November 25, 2022 - DFA transmits document to PSA
February 22, 2023 - Received PSA Certified ROM from Quezon City Office

Our ROM application was approved on August 26th and transmitted on September 9th.
My wife went to the local PSA in General Santos and they don’t have a record of it as of now. Since the consulate website says 6 months to a year, we will try again in March.

NeonParticles reacted to top_secret in Recent IR-1 Interviews in Manila
Sputum testing is required for applicants that "fail" their chest x-ray looking for TB during their physical at SLEC. If Saint Luke's crack team of x-ray analyzers somewhat dubiously thinks they see a spot or something the applicant gets tagged for sputum testing which wastes allot of time and which more often than not turns out to be nothing.
While it certainly is a very real possibility that impacts a significant percentage of applicants, 'most' will make make it through without sputum testing.
