We don't add up my earnings and your earnings and some poor schmuck's earnings and then redistribute it in a way that Comrade Obama sees fit. That's not how capitalism works. We all pay taxes (or at least some of us do) which pay for some safety nets, but that's about it.

Why not, if you can grow business overseas?

American companies manufacture abroad, sell abroad and keep their money abroad. Unions are obsolete.

The only thing that is limiting my restaurant dining experience is the quality of the food, the price I have to pay for it, and how convenient the place is to get to. I really don't pay attention to what corporate blow-hard's have to say about anything, from a consumer aspect. Actually, I really don't enjoy dining at chain restaurants, except to get a burger lunch once in a while when the wife bugs me enough. I am a better cook than most of those that do it for a living, at least as far as appealing to my own palate and nutritional requirements.

Ironically, not dining at those restaurants would force them not to hire any more workers and consider cutting their hours - just like they said.

The financial sector is the only reason the part of the country I live in enjoys the prosperity that it does.
