Only if they specifically request you to submit originals. It’s the same principle with USCIS.

I have to agree with @Mike E. It is unsolicited as the consulate didn’t explicitly require you to send them the originals. You can try to contact the consulate and ask for them back but no guarantees.

~~ Topic moved from Progress Reports to Process & Procedures ~~ What is suggested here is immigration fraud - namely coming to the US on an non-immigrant visa with an intent to overstay and adjust status. Spouses of US citizens are not exempt from having to obtain a correct visa for their intentions. As a Moderator, I have to remind all here that discussing and condoning illegal ways to immigrate are against the sites terms of service. The answer is no, she cannot do that and this will not be discussed further. Thank you.

Better or worse to provide multiple I-134s?
powerpuff replied to Annafez's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
You, the petitioner, as a primary sponsor will have to fill out an I-134 regardless if you have income or not. -
I-134 Household Size
powerpuff replied to KaitlinL's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
The question is not clear. I assume “they” means children. Whose children? The beneficiary’s children or the joint sponsors children? No, there is no combining. Joint sponsors must qualify on their own which means their income must meet the financial requirements. I think there is confusion on requirements for the joint sponsor. The requirements are exactly the same as if they were the main or only sponsor. Which means if they have children, just like a main petitioner, they are included in the household size regardless of who they live with, along with anybody else they claim on taxes plus the intending immigrant. -
Related threads merged. @forzil do not create multiple threads for related topics. Doing so constitutes spamming and is a terms of service violation which can result in admin action against your account. Lastly, please post in an appropriate forum for your situation which is Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, Tourist visas and NOT CR1/IR1 spousal visa forum which is for those who are going through consular interview abroad. Thank you. VJ Moderation

The place below took the best passport photo of me so far in my life, no joke. The people who work there know what they’re doing! It’s a small place, a bit hidden (you have to go up the stairs to get to it) but don’t let that fool you. Also, I think they’re cash only as far as I can remember. Елена https://2gis.kz/almaty/geo/9429940000795314 2GIS is a life saver, all the locals (including me) use it. Download the app, it’s like google maps

Travelling through US after k1 was cancelled years ago
powerpuff replied to missile's topic in Tourist Visas
~~ Topic moved from K1 forum to Tourist Visas forum as the question is about visiting the US and being admitted as a visitor ~~ You have to remember that only US citizens and LPRs are guaranteed entry into the US. I personally do not think you would have issues. -
