    No, you’re right- they were talking about adjustment of status! AOS can stand for both AOS and affidavit of support but in this case not filing Adjustment of status also means that affidavit of support will not be filed and signed either so they’re not under any obligations.

    AOS was not filed, hence no affidavit of support (I-864). I-134 that was signed for K1 interview is not legally binding so OP is covered and doesn’t have to worry about that.

    I was just thinking that. I think it’ll be safer to buy it once in Qatar. We have been suggesting Doha for a reason. Do not use pre-clearance, they can easily turn away GC holders. They need to face immigration on US soil. Airlines do not care where you’re from as long as you pay for the ticket. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible.

    You’re overthinking these questions, answer them literally. They’re not asking when her old lease finished. She has to put the last date she stayed at the previous address which would be the day before arrival in the US.

    Just include a page in the packet. USCIS asks to not staple anything since they have to take it apart. They prefer paper clips and other similar things

    Virtually none if it’s not USCIS error Appealing costs $630 and the chances of it being denied in this situation are high. New I-129F costs $535 with low chances of denial of issue is fixed.
