i finally waited for a week interval between my gc expiration and then called again for an info pass , so they told me an officer will call me back which she did and she told me that i dont have to come into an office to get the info pass that they will mail it to me , so i received the info pass in the mail last week which i use to renew my DL while waiting for my i-90 to be processed, its been 15months already but the current processing time is 20months, just want to give you all an update thank you and have blessed day

nothing yet, they haven’t even called me , i‘m still calling them, these guys tend to stress and frustrate legal immigrants that pay their taxes and stuff, they make things so difficult for us even more difficult than the illegal ones

i filled i-90 from my uscis account and they only asked for the GC picture front and back, i filled it correctly and i also sent in a scanned copy of my marriage cert, i will wait for the call thanks

@Family @Crazy Cat @pushbrk any idea you can throw in on how to proceed when i get this phone call so that i can get an expedite, from what i read clear USCIS error and potential job loss which can lead to an imminent hardship is among the criteria to qualify for expedite and all this applies to me, been a supervisor my company intend to deploy me to Oman and Argentina February to help with new business setup and this can put my employment at risk please any ideas on how to proceed for best result. thanks so much i really appreciate the help i get from VJ.

so i called again and got in touch with someone who understood what i’m saying, she put my information down and put in a regular appointment for me to get a stamp on my passport, she said i should hold unto my current GC until Uscis request for it, she said the stamp will serve as my legal status while i wait for the replacement card, meanwhile i been meaning to ask has there been a case scenario where someone in same position as me filed an i-90 for replacement due to DHS error and got denied ?, when i filed the i-90 i uploaded my marriage cert, and a text document explaining the situation along with a picture of my passport data page and GC front and back picture

Okay @Crazy Cat i really appreciate your help on here, everytime i ask a question your are always here from day 1 to help, the clarification you gave me before i proceeded in filing i-90 did help me a lot coupled with the research i did, so is there anything you suggest i do while i wait cos i wanted to call DHS

i have been trying to get hold of someone but the answering machine won’t let me through

do you think it’s a good idea to file i-751 even with a pending i-90 , though i still have the original GC with the incorrect category printed on it, which expires march 2023

i haven’t received the replacement card and i still have my plastic card on me, i did my biometrics already but the case is still awaiting decision, i filed online and they didn’t request the old GC from me yet , when i filed the i-90 from my uscis account they only requested for front and back picture of the card

exactly because i didn’t pay anything when i filed i-90, so if i file i-751 and pay the fee, when they fix my GC and make it 10years my money will be a waste for filing i-751 , i got married 5/2/2018 , got admitted into the united state 3/20/2021 that marriage is more than 2years before i got admitted here but i got 2years conditional GC which i know it’s a mistake that’s why i filed i-90

When i got admitted last year i received 2years GC instead of 10yrs GC , i posted here and asked questions about it and i was advised to file form i-90 and indicate DHS error which i did file i-90 in january 2022, my marriage is 2yrs 10months before i got admitted here so i suppose to get a 10yrs GC if i am correct, my conditional residence GC will expire in march 2023 , so i wanted to know if i should go ahead and file i-751 while my i-90 is waiting decision, reason am asking is because if they correct the error and send me a new GC it will be a 10yrs GC so when that happens it means that the i-751 i filed is pointless , do you understand what i mean

i filed a form i-90 in January to replace GC due to DHS error, because i have been married for 2years and 10 months before i got admitted into the United state last year but i received a CR1 2yrs instead of IR1 which is 10years GC , after filing i-90 i was invited go and do my biometrics which i have done and the case awaiting a decision but on the 11/16/2022 i received a notification to remember to file i-751 now my question is should i file i-751 while my i-90 case is waiting a decision

They didnt ask me to physically submit or mail in the GC, I filed the I-90 through my uscis account and after that they sent me a letter of appointment to go and do biometric at their office in Oklahoma City on January 31 2022 , since then I haven’t heard anything I attached a screenshot of the current status .

Thanks you so much , I did the filling and indicated DHS error in December 2021, I got a letter to go to the uscis office in Oklahoma City to do my biometric on January 31 2022 I,did that also but till now I haven’t got any update on the case , I have been checking my uscis account but theirs is no update yet, when I filed the I-90 I sent pictures of my current GC and also included a letter explaining the error I anticipated, they letter contains the dates of each event from my marriage date to admission into the USA, any idea on why I haven’t heard back yet ?
