  1. Yes, I called them twice and they are giving everybody the same generic answer that they're "working on'" the website. Why is it taking so damn long to fix this issue? Our processes are being delayed because of it.
  2. So it is rightly indicating that the case is closed at Uscis's end, hence myuscis account says 'case closed'.
  3. Yeah it definitely is a mistake on their part. Should I contact uscis or NVC since I have heard that when the case gets transferred to NVC, uscis has no clue about it. I'll contact NVC on Monday till they sort this issue out because I'm not starting all over again and paying all those fees just because it's their mistake.
  4. Well, I didn't withdraw the case neither did my spouse. And if that had been the case they should have notified me via mail or email that the case has been withdrawn. And my spouse her police certificate just about 2 weeks ago on ceac, why would the website accept anything from her if the case was closed?
  5. Hello there, Our I130 petition got approved in January this year and we submitted the IV fees in Feb. I was in the hospital pretty much the whole month of Jan, my wife came here in Feb since she was granted a visa on basis of medical grounds to take care of me. She went back after three months, submitted her police certificate and is now waiting for her medical. And today to my surprise when I logged onto myuscis account after so many months, it says my case is closed? The case was approved in Jan and sent to DoS/NVC. I have sent them a message thru my account asking why does it say so. Could this be an error, why do you folks say?
  6. Hello there, I have been trying to upload my I-864 and tax info on the ceac but my name has been greyed out and I can't upload my documents. I called NVC and they said the site is acting up and they're working on it and the agent told me to send an email via public inquiry forum, which I did two days ago but the problem still persists. What can be done about this issue now?
  7. Thank you for being that specific. And what should I write in the space where it asks, 'my current individual annual income'? Should I put the number from the 2020 total income since I wont know the actual amount until the end of this year.
  8. @Wuozopo One more question I wanted to ask is that, do I have to put my total annual income numbers in question 24 part B and C for the years 2019 and 2018 or I can leave them blank because they only require income from the most recent tax return? Same question goes for my joint sponsor when he's filling out the form, thanks.
  9. @Wuozopo, should I put my annual gross or net income where it is asked on form I864?
  10. Thank you, this is so far the most accurate and helpful answer to my questions. I have filed my 2020 taxes already so I'll have to send them transcript for last year because I don't want them to send me an RFE later on which will delay the process. And yes, my spouse is currently working overseas and she does have savings which to my surprise can contribute to our joint income/assets. "Folks commenting on current income: He can’t determine income until the tax year has ended and he has determined his business deductions and profit or loss from a business on Schedule C and filed the return." Thank you once again for clarifying this to others.
  11. Thank you for the replies, my income for 2020 falls below $21,550, so I will definitely be needing a joint sponsor for it. I don't have pay stubs since I'm self-employed. So I'm only required to send them tax returns for 2020 along with my joint sponsors' 2020 returns in the form of official IRS transcripts? Returns from 2019 and 2018 are optional and not required from either one of us right?
  12. Hello fellow VJers, I'm going thru the process of bringing my spouse to the States and now we are at the stage of me submitting my I864, but since I didn't earn as much money in '20, would my '19 and '18 returns, that cross the national poverty threshold of 21,550 suffice or I would need a joint sponsor for only the year 2020? Since NVC requires the most recent tax returns. And would I need to provide information on 2020 taxes only or 2019 and 2018 as well? And when I do get a joint sponsor for the last years' returns, what documents would I need from him to provide to NVC? Thanking you all for your sincere expert opinion in advance.
