  1. I printed out everything that I had already submitted to them and brought some additional photos and new chat/call logs as we had trips together since I filed but nothing got asked from it. I wasn't expecting to have to show it but better to be prepared. They only asked me a few basic questions, where my spouse lives (state), what they do for a job and what I do for a job. It was very stressful and relaxed, I had months and months of anxiety over nothing
  2. As others have already said a tourist visa denial won't impact you with the CR1 (unless the reason was for something serious like crime etc.). I had both a B2 tourist and ESTA denial when I applied. I mentioned the B2 denial in my application and it never came up during my interview but I did get asked at the border when I immigrated why my ESTA was denied so just be prepared for an answer in case. I remember being a bit thrown off with how to answer but it was a non-issue.
  3. I put my usernames, so www.instagram.com/username. Same for Facebook and Twitter (which I had already deleted years prior).
  4. Sept 24 - visa fee paid Jan 04 - entered US April 28 - card produced May 05 - delivered
  5. He doesn't need to wait for his greencard in the mail, he can literally come to the US, get stamped (which acts as 1 year permanent residence) and then leave. I did get advised though when entering for the first time it would be best to wait 24 hours for any international travel just to be "safe that everything had been processed in the system".
  6. No.. I was selecting I-90, also tried a few others but never did OS155A. My bad. Thank you soooo much!! Submitted it now online so will await their response. Says I can expect a response in 30 days so same as a call back.
  7. Has anyone contacted USCIS after not receiving their green card after 90 days? I called them today and they said all they can do is get a tier 2 agent to call back but it can take 30 days. Tried submitting a non delivered card request online https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDCForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndc but it won’t let me as says my form number doesn’t match my receipt number type. I know the stamp in passport is valid for a 1 year but I’ve been having so many problems with employers and getting my driving license without the physical card so really want it asap (I know they should accept the stamp, I go round in endless circles with them and then never head back). if anyone has been in a similar situation, would appreciate your input as to what you did , thanks !
  8. I have 1 more week until I hit the 90 day mark of entering the US (LAX) and my status is still at immigrant fee received.
  9. I had both a B2 tourist visa and ESTA denial before I got married and applied for CR1. It never came up during my interview and I was approved just fine. At the POE the officer did ask why I had my ESTA denied in the past.. I just answered that I believed it was due to not having enough home ties. I can't see it being a problem for you at all if you have decent relationship proof.
  10. Sorted SSN and already received my number/card in the mail... To be honest that has been the most straight forward and stress free process so far. Driving license, state ID, opening bank account, credit card + even just getting a US phone number has been far far more difficult and it definitely was a shock to me how it's been.
  11. @Shaksaat @OldUser Update: I went to a different DMV this afternoon and had no issues using my passport with I-551 stamp. Applied for driving licence and real ID. Thanks for your input. Still hoping the physical card comes soon though!
  12. Showed them my phone with the DMV accepted documents page but still refused. Did not ask for supervisor. I might try going to another DMV this afternoon and ask for supervisor if they also refuse.
