Lol I wish I was DQed or waiting for an interview. But no I’m still waiting for my I-130 to get approved and have a month or so left until I hear back. Loooong road for me. Have been silently following this thread all along and feeling completely hopeless 

This is beyond depressing to read. Seriously. By the looks of it they’re gonna stretch May DQ’s until March. I hope I’m wrong. Our case hasn’t even reached NVC yet. If the embassy keeps working at this pace it’ll take years for me to get to the interview stage.. 😭

This is soo disheartening to read. We haven’t even been approved by USCIS yet, but knowing I’ll be stuck in an another endless wait once DQed (which is God knows when) is truely saddening. I hope to hear good news soon InshAllah. Let’s all have faith and keep praying guys. Better days will come InshaAllah. 

Processing times for I-130 petitions at Potomac went up to 10-12.5 months

Yikesss. And it's not even 3rd August yet 😔😔 😔

What is going on at Potomac Service Center? There's just been one approval so far this month. The other service centers are relatively steady, don't y'all think?  😕

Does anyone know if the embassy is scheduling interviews or when they plan on reopening back for interviews for CR1 visa? Any update would be highly appreciated. Thanks

OMG! 30 months?!?? Where does it say that? We filed in March 2020 and are hoping be approved in 4-6 more months. 😭

Hey guys. Does anyone know how will the immigration ban affect the current USCIS processing of spouse cases of USC? Do you think there’s a chance that now that a large chunk of categories for green cards are blocked for 60 days, the exempted ones, including spouse of USC will get a higher priority and get processed faster? Or they’ll process all categories the same way? What do you all think? Let me know. Thank you!

We made a mistake on the “date marriage ended” we put the date they got married accidentally and obviously they were still married and there was no marriage that ended.  So we corrected the page with the mistake, wrote out a detailed cover letter explaining the error and uploaded it at uscis asking them to replace pages so and so in original package. Also we mailed it to Uscis where our case was (Texas service center). And we sent a message on the myuscis site explaining the error and wrote out in detail the mistakes in there as well. A few weeks later they wrote a message on the case that is was under review and completed. so I assume they fixed it. We are at NVC now. They know people make mistakes so correct it now and keep copies to take to the interview in case you need to prove that you tried to correct it. Good luck!

However, we have more than one serious errors on the I130 form. We may have to resubmit the petition again 😞
