I had my interview this morning!

It was a pleasant experience. We took 6 big piles of files with us and prepared whole night about different questions they may ask separating us!! But to our surprise, the interview lasted only 5 minutes and only few questions such as do u have joint bank statements and where u work etc. After that she logged into her system and entered y data and she said she is approving us today and explained briefly how to lift conditions on our second anniversary!

So, thats it...

We are more happy couple now!!

I guess we are borderline Dec/Jan filers.Still waiting ..No touches..No updates but still smiling between checking for updates and slight Grrrr's at times.Once we recieved the EAD card its been easier to sit back and show somewhat more patience at waiting thru name check..

Yeah. Agree with you. Even I havent had any touches after my EAD, and infact from Biometrics... It is frustating for me. So, I can imagine how it would be for those early filers. God will bless us all soon.

Add us to this group... last touch 4/26! filed 1/29. At least we have EAD so he's working. I'm ready to have a little break from USCIS!

Here We are too:( waiting since february and still nothing:( last touched was may 31 and after that nothing:( hopely one day they will remember all of us who have been waiting more.

well we guess not too patient cause i didn't even read the initial post right! we have NOT been approved yet, but are still waiting for interview or whatever they throw at us!!!

My interview is next month on 24th. Strange thing is I havent been touched ever since after my "Biometrics" which was in APril. I don know whats goin on? I hope its not something bad for me, since I married after coming here on visitor visa in less than 2 months...

Does any of you have any idea, what does that mean: Not to have any Touches on your I 485 and I 130??

Its pretty normal for the I-485 to go for a long time with no touches. I was a trasferee so a little different for me but I didn't get any more action untill approval and seeings as you have an interview your's will probably pick up again then, don't worry

I applied for SSN card 3 weeks back and havent recieved it.. Don know whats goin on!!

I got an email today saying they have sent the approval notice for my EAD.

Congrats Flutter... I got EAD first on my postal mail and then they sent an email stating that they approved my EAD and approval notice is on ts way. Its kinda weird.

Got my husband's EAD card in the mail today. Now we can go get his CA driver's license!!!

Had our interview today in San Francisco and all went smoothly. They didn't even ask for my 3rd year taxes, he took a few pics for our file, a printout of regular income from one of my clients(self employed), and the phone bill which was the only bill I had showing both our names. He asked us each to give each other's birth dates, and my husband which address he lived at and read our home number and asked what number that was. That was it. He was very nice and said the green card would arrive in 2 weeks. Ironically the EAD was approved last week and it was in the mail when we got home from the interview. He advised us not to use the EAD card as we now have green card status and it would mess up our paperwork. We have been very lucky with this process. All went smoothly, quickley and no RFE's. Glad it's done, and all the best to those still waiting.

I forgot to add - at one point during our interiview my husband gave me a little kiss on the cheek and a hug, and she reprimanded us, saying that "no kissing" was allowed in the office.

Good God. Is she a former corrections officer? lol

She did lighten up towards the latter part of the interview, though - the one where we were separated - it was kinda like playing the newlywed game!

i wake up early today because we have people coming over for breakfast..when i opened my computer there is an e-mail from CRIS "production of your card has been ordered"...i am so excited..after that wrong e-mail i've been worrying about my GC is on the way..YEHEY!

Filed for EAD, separately from AOS, in the second week of March and got the biometric done in the second week of April. However, no news since then, and I have a job I have to start within a couple of weeks that will be in danger if I don't get my EAD in time which is making me nervous as hell. I see in this thread, and even in the april filers thread, that people who have similar timelines have both their AOS and EAD approved. Don't understand what's going on with my application. Maybe I should've applied both AOS and EAD together. Is there anything I can do to get this EAD on time? I desperately need this job and don't want to lose it.
