  1. I am about to mail the RFE and need help on this last part.I need help urgently since I need to send this RFE ASAP

My wife came here on a k1 visa. She has never had a job before in her entire life.

Therefore, on Part 3, household income, do I still have to list her, even though she never had a job before???

or, do I only list myself?

  2. My wife already has a social security card and she has no credit since she just came here with a k1 visa

we need a credit report for the i-944. i went on https://www.annualcreditreport.com/  to get a free credit report but both equifax and experian didnt work. they both kept saying "send more documents to confirm identity".

i tried tranunion and got this message.  i have been trying everyday for the past 30 days and i keep getting the same message from transunion... can i just screenshot the transunion page and send that in with the i-944?? i also called transunion 1 month ago to get it in the mail, but they still havent sent it!!!

  3. my wifes AOS packet is almost done and i want to send everything before oct 2 before they increase the fees.

i really need help, on this part.

Under the education part where it ask for high school diploma and college degrees, my wife has a vietnamese high school diploma. she did go to an international university in Vietnam and her Bachelors is in English.

is it 100% required to include a copy of the high school diploma? or will just the Bachelors from the university suffice? the diploma is in vietnamese.

also, does her Bachelors need to be evaluated by an agency?

    thanks for your help!

Hi everyone, what is the best flight right now to fly from Ho Chi Minh City Saigon to Seattle, WA?  Price is not an issue.  Just want the quickest and most hassle free travel during this Covid19.  My Wife got her Visa this September and planning to Travel to Seattle, WA in late November or Early December, would not want any later than that because her Visa will expired in a couple months after that.

I have try to Book with EVA Air in early December and they already Cancel my flight and I have to rebook for Late November, and don't know if they Cancel again because they say flight are Cancel if not enough people book.  I book EVA because right now it's the easiest so far just one stop in Taipei and transit in 3 hours to another Flight to Seattle.

Was thinking Korea Air or Japan Airline, but they have too many stop and may have a more harsh requirement check when landing and transisting.

you do realize that the next lockdown will begin sometime in October.... the UK is about to go into the 2nd lockdown... once that happens, other countries will follow..

my fiance and i left in july. we literally left together exactly 24 hours after receiving the visa. as soon as she got the visa in the afternoon, i book the  flight for the next day. that is how DIRE the situation is.

i would tell your wife to leave NOW, before September ends. once the next lockdown begins, you will be lucky to book a flight for 2022. the 2nd wave is already happening.

    again, LEAVE NOW

you can book through kayak, my fiance and i flew with Eva airwaves.  the fastest flight is like 16 hours - 24 hours for like $600-800

i like the flight from SGN to Taipei and then to Seattle. it's the quickest one.

Someone just posted this issue a few days ago. They said USCIS wouldn't accept 3rd party checks, so that could be your issue. If you get it back, get a cashier's check or use your credit card to be safe.

    that person must be trolling...

they do accept 3rd party checks... when i filed for k-1 in 2019, my dad wrote me a check in his name and my case was approved with no RFE...

unless you can post a link where USCIS said they no longer accept 3rd party checks, then it is nothing more than BS

Is that how you treat other people?

apparently you didnt read this thread....

    https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/747308-tips-for-making-sure-i-765-is-not-rejected-for-incorrect-fee/

the government is looking for the smallest things to reject you and take your money.. even if you dont do something wrong, they still want to penalize you.

  7. since petitions or applications submitted after july 29, 2020, the i-944 is no longer required.

for those who submitted their applications without the I-944 after july 29, did you get a rejection or RFE? did you get approved?

i will be sending my application and including a note that it is no longer required and i will print the entire ALERT notice and highlight the part that is says, it is no longer required.. this will make it easier for those low IQ USCIS agents...

    keep us updated here.

If you filed a regular 1040: Total Income (7b for 2019), if you filed 1040EZ Adjusted gross Income.

i was referring to the previous tax transcript for year 2018. i am including all three years.

i have always filled out the regular 1040, so does that i mean i  choose Total Income Per Computer from my 2018 tax transcript?

But the form I-944 is not in the USCIS page anymore. And their page still does not say that only 3 states are not required to file

the entire US government is a complete failure. has been for decades and decades.

i would not be surprised if someone gets an RFE for something that doesnt exist anymore on their website..

    UPDATE: Approved!

    thats good to hear bro

my wife and i had our expedited interview back in june.

the embassy has really relaxed their rules. alot of people were getting expedited interviews for simply saying "i want to celebrate our anniversary with my spouse in the US" or that i miss my "fiance or wife, ect..."

this was back in may and june.

once my wife got her visa, we literally flew together to the US within 24 hours. that is how fast i wanted to get out of vietnam. i would recommend you do the same thing too. as soon as your fiance gets her visa, get out as soon as possible before they shut down everything again. tell her to start packing her stuff now and say goodbye to friends and family. and once she gets the visa, leave within a day or two.

  11. I will be sending my AOS packet soon, that includes:

I-485, I-765, and I-601 for the vaccine waiver for religious beliefs

that being said, do I have to pay a separate fee for the I-601? or do I just pay the total final fee of $1,225, for all 3 forms?

I will be sending this entire packet to:

     USCIS
    P.O Box 805887
    Chicago, IL 60680-4120

    is this correct??

Not yet.  Earlier thread said late May DQ's got interviews for September and mine is June 1 so probably any time.  I'm going to cancel my interview if it is scheduled for this year and postpone until January.  We aren't moving to the US until this coming school year is done in June 2021 so I don't want an interview this year.

    lol... goodluck there buddy.

once the 2nd wave hits in the next month or two, everything will get shut down for good again, and this time, they will NOT re-open up... be lucky to even get an interview in 2022...

opportunity has knocked on your door and you are refusing it. there are so many people who wish they could have your interview right now..

our NOA2 for K1 was in feb 2020 and we didnt even get an interview date because of the virus, but somehow i managed to get us expedited interview for mid june and we passed. we landed in the US in july. we literally flew to the US exactly 1 day after we got the visa in hand. that is how dire the situation is right now. yet you are thinking everything will be sunshine and rainbows in the next year, lol.

those people who had interviews in march are still stuck in vietnam.... my wife and i are one the luckiest people who managed to get an interview before those who had interviews in march.

like i said before, you will be even lucky to get an interview in 2022 once the 2nd wave hits

I just wanted to learn if there was any update here. Were you able to get your birth certificate from Vietnam or a statement that it doesn't exist? Can you please let me know how you went about in doing this and if you were successful? I am in the exact same situation — I'm a child of refugees who fled Vietnam in 1976. I now need to obtain my birth certificate for immigration purposes and have no idea how to do this. Anything you can share about your experience would be very helpful!

he hasnt logged in for 6 years lol.

he aint going to respond unfortunately
