JonSeattle got a reaction from bubblyheather in Need advice about highly complicated K1 circumstances
Mixed in with the frustration you feel is a lot of great news: your fiance has been cured of TB, she didn't get COVID, there is a very effective vaccine that will be distributed by soon, and the COVID situation in the Philippines is such that a new administration might be willing to re-open the embassy there. Hang in there, it's getting close now.

JonSeattle got a reaction from flicks1998 in One More CFO Clarification
Unless it has changed recently, the CFO is still closed and so all one needs to leave the airport is to print out the emailed certificate from CFO. Your case may be different because the certificate is from before the lockdown. You may need to get the CFO to email you a new certificate.

JonSeattle got a reaction from Dashinka in Moving overseas after AOS interview, advice needed
You never know what is going to happen. Seems safer to complete the AOS in case the new job doesn't work out for any reason.

JonSeattle reacted to Loren Y in Interview
Bring everything you can think of. I brought so much evidence I had to use a 2 wheel Dolly to transport the file box into the ASC. Don't go cheap on them, make them work. When the IO asked if I had any additional things I wanted to submit, I just smacked the side of the file box. He said excellent, your approved, you will see the green card in a week.

Some good news.
I checked my followed timeline and their file has left NVC.
This is for K1.

JonSeattle reacted to jaysaldi in Interviewer couldn't approve I-485 today because of possibly "expired" medical?
Ah, never mind. Just got an email that green card is being produced. I guess the interviewer talked to some co-workers and was satisfied the medical exam was timely.

JonSeattle reacted to PWB in NVC to Manila Embassy for K1 Visas
We interviewed in February 2020 and were approved. Visa issued on 26 February and withheld on 27 February. Administrative processing for nine months. Finally after a second physical and second sputum the embassy returned passport three days after they received new physical and told her to get another physical. Mistake after mistake so I sent an email to Senator Cruz and forwarded all correspondence with USEM and he recommended Consular General review petition and two days later Visa was issued. Today, 3rd of December she is in flight to America. Call the embassy, be courteous but be relentless with them. Remember our fee's pay their salary.

JonSeattle got a reaction from TBoneTX in Is my relationship with my Moroccan Man legit?
There's a lot of red flags. One is his employment history. If he comes to the US, you will be held responsible for supporting him even if you get divorced after he gets here. Are you in a financial position to accept that risk? How confident are you in his ability and willingness to hold down an entry-level job for the long term?
Beyond that, you need to get a very clear understanding of how you two will live together through hard times. An important part of that is how he deeply feels for you and what he will be willing to do to help you when you need it while he is having a hard time also. It takes time together to develop that commitment to each other.
Good luck, I hope you find happiness somewhere, even if not through this man.

JonSeattle got a reaction from Chancy in Purpose of I-485 NOA letter?
Yes, you should get it. I think the I-485 NOA1 is also needed when you file for renewal of the EAD so you don't have to pay the fee.
