igoyougoduke reacted to Boiler in If my wife reapplies for an ESTA and is approved, will she have a chance of passing through immigration after it was refused by CBP 2 years ago?
The OP is or has filed an I 130.
VWP Express is not an option.

once ESTA is revoked, it is gone for life. she wont get approval ever for ESTA again . the only way she can enter US is with an immigrant visa at this point ( considering she got twice entry denied)

igoyougoduke reacted to OldUser in How to file a Mandamus in Federal Court
If nobody gets interviewed, then WoM won't help. It usually helps if one's case is delayed compared to everybody else.

igoyougoduke reacted to millefleur in Should I just use a lawyer? Complicated history but not messy... if that makes sense
I wouldn't worry about the old paperwork as USCIS and the embassy will have access to that. If you yourself are curious to get it again, you can file a FOIA request and USCIS should be able to pull all of it for you.
As for the divorce decree, you need to contact the court where it was filed and request a new copy. If you can't find anyone to contact online, trying calling. The record is there it's just a matter of getting someone to pull it for you and paying for a new copy.

After reading the OP to me it looks like poster child of immigration fraud.
Marriage with US citizen.
Citizen gets paid for the deed.
Citizen spends little time together with 'new' spouse.
Citizen goes with his life, doesn't work for what? 2 years?
How many people can afford not to work for few years? Let me quit Burger King as I've worked for them for 3 years, I have so much savings that now I don't have to do anything for very loooong time.
To me it is an example of the fraud case.

igoyougoduke reacted to Boundless_damsel in Happy to share advice on filing the writ of mandamus as a pro se filer (not a lawyer, just from experience)
Just wanted it to pay it forward--and give a public shoutout to @igoyougoduke, who has shared his advice with me back in the day: if you are filing a mandamus and have any questions (especially, as related to argument development), feel free to reach out. I am not a lawyer, but am happy to be of help, given my personal experience.

igoyougoduke reacted to Cata&Ben in N400 status - Attention Boston filers !!!
Hi team! I am excited to share that I received my interview letter today! I have been scheduled for the interview on March 27th. It has been quite a journey to get here!

igoyougoduke reacted to zanzala in N400 status - Attention Boston filers !!!
Happy to report that my hubby successfully passed his naturalization interview! It was a combo interview for us, I-751 and N-400. We quickly showed some evidence for I-751, she asked a couple of questions and said that she is approving our I-751. After that I was allowed to stay in the room for the N-400 part, just had to move to the back of the room, so that I don't help him with the questions.
Then she started asking questions, who is MA governor, one war in the 1900s, what is an amendment, name of the vice president, one thing only the federal government can do, and why does the flag has 50 stars.
one sentence to read and one to write. was very quick.
And then she went over several sections on his form like if he has started working, which he started just last year.. So she needed the address and phone number of his employer etc. Then she checked some entries on the form about how many times we have been married, and how many kids he has. read him the oath questions and asked if he was willing to take it. and that's it! She gave him his approval paper and said he would be scheduled for the oath on February 21. We got the scheduling confirmation right after. And then on the way home I got text messages that our cases' status had changed. When I checked for updates, I-751 said that the card is being produced, which I doubt:D. and N-400 said that an oath scheduling notice is being sent. So relieved to be almost done! And big thank you to all VisaJourney community! Couldnt have done it without all the information shared here!

igoyougoduke got a reaction from OldUser in Can i file i-485 second time?
your emotions are completely valid . Some times it can take 30-60 days before checks are clearly. as long as the mail package says its delivered it is delivered to uscis. Do not worry.
as long as your package has the minimum documents and the cheque clears.. you are safe. not to worry

igoyougoduke got a reaction from TonyMacaroni in Has anyone been denied boarding with a K1 visa but without a return ticket?
you only need a valid ticket , valid visa and valid passport to board. Whether you get one way ticker or two way ticket is not airlines concern
Never heard of airlines demanding you have a two way ticket.

Not sure what you and those you've stated expect, but you do realize this is just a security guard working front desk.
Your package was received at intended location. Be patient. You'll need patience in this USCIS journey.

igoyougoduke reacted to OldUser in I485 Denial for Vaccinations
Yes, if petition is denied AP and EAD are not valid anymore.
If you're a US citizen, his unauthorized work will be forgiven if he's honest about it at the interview / on I-485 application.
This is not to encourage such work, just in case if this already occured.
However, travelling on AP based on denied petition may result in not being able to reenter the US.

Just refile as soon as possible. Make sure he gets the proper vaccinations this time
He shouldn't travel until he has AP in hand.

igoyougoduke reacted to SalishSea in Internation travel without U.S. Passport
No agency can expedite beyond what an individual can expedite. All US passports are processed via the US Passport Agency, Dept of State.
Just like RapidVisa et al cannot expedite visas beyond what an individual applicant can do.

Your naturalization has not been approved. It does not matter what documents you used to file n-400 , they will verify your entire immigration history at N-400 interview. It does not matter what you applied the application with

The N14 is the instructions info for you to fix the issue.
Well … USCIS does. And so would the state / county Police if you had been stopped while driving with an out of state licence after the required grace period expired. Would have had a citation to add to the N400 then
Did you file the AR11 with USCIS .. or did you not consider that a “serious” need either ?

igoyougoduke reacted to Lil bear in Citizenship request for evidence
Each state requires residents to have in state DL .. usually within 10-30 days of moving there. You should have done this when you moved. Do it now. Follow the information given to you by the IO..
